The shooting by police of an unarmed man is always serious. The exploitation of that shooting by race-baiters and the professionally aggrieved says something even more serious about racial divisions in the US. And the fact that dealing with the violence then requires the replacement of a white police chief by a black suggests the real grievance is not that there is racism but that the wrong “race” rules.

We have to go half a world away just to get news without propaganda .
That is what is wrong with American news , its not relevent to the truth ; thats why people no longer pay attention to it , and the decline in viewership . Incidently , why did the Dept. of "JUST-US" expect to gain by delaying the store security film of Little "Baby Bear" stealing, assaulting the store manager ?
Also , why have we not seen the photo of damage done to the police officers orbital bone during the assault in his car ?

I wish the author had rephrased the "headline" of hs piece.To say it's not *just* is to say that it's a "racist cop/innocent black" among other things.Given that the evidence is increasingly suggesting that the dead guy was *anything* but innocent (the video of the assault of the store clerk minutes before his death,drugs found in the dead guy's system,the cop having sustained a facial fracture while struggling with him) it would have been better to say "this is not a case of a racist white cop and an innocent black youth".

I don't know how much press this is getting Down Under but as a regular viewer of the BBC News Hour it's sure getting intense coverage by them.And just a few minutes ago Deutsche Welle had a report from the city.

Andrew Bolt has to be very careful writing anything about race, and the headline may reflect that. He's previously been held to be in violation of Section 18C of our Racial Discrimination Act, for articles he has written in one of the most blatant anti-freedom of speech, anti-freedom of the press, prosecutions in Australian history. And, yes, the case is getting a lot of coverage in the Australian press.

We don't have a situation like that (yet) here in the States, but if the libs and the race-baiters get their way, it will be similar to Australia and other English-speaking countries. The narrative from Big Media for the last fifty or more years in situations like this one is that the white party (or white Hispanic) is always guilty before the facts are known. Even when the facts are known, many innocent people's lives are destroyed. Officer Wilson might as well pack his bags and move one thousand miles away...if he is not railroaded during a trial.

The Obama admin would dearly like to prosecute Wilson for this incident. But things are looking bad for them...the facts point to a justifiable shooting. But don't give up on that pos AG Holder. If he can railroad Wilson, he'll do it.
