Democrats need help? Don’t ask Hillary
NY POST ^ | 8/18/14 | MICHAEL BARONE

Posted on 08/19/2014 4:02:10 AM PDT by Liz

Hillary’s scathing comments on Obama’s foreign policy were noticed....But almost no one noticed she hasn’t been on the campaign trail, or at fund-raisers, for Democrat Senate candidates.

Obama hasn’t been on the campaign trail, b/c he has low approval ratings (and is apparently not wanted by candidates). But Obama’s been busy raising money; even in Martha’s Vineyard, he took the time to speak (between golf games) at his 400th political fund-raiser.

Pat Buchanan shows in his vividly written book, “The Greatest Comeback: How Richard Nixon Rose From Defeat To Create the New Majority,” that Nixon campaigned tirelessly in 1966 midterms. That produced big GOP gains, and helped elect Nixon president in 1968.

Will Hillary stump in Colorado, an example of Democratic gains, or Iowa, not usually avoided by presidential candidates? That might force her to weigh in on ObamaCare, illegal border crossings and fracking.....(toxic topics she apparently wants to avoid).

I guess Hillary will avoid campaigning for Colorado Democrat Sen Udall---b/c that may bring up toxic images of Udall’s paranoid staff threatening the state's insurance director to suppress reports that 250,000 Coloradans had policies canceled because of ObamaCare......another Obama promise "if you like your plan, you can keep it" shot to hell.

Udall cancels appearance at fundraiser with Obama
via Washington Post ^ | July 9, 2014 | FR Posted by palmer

WASHINGTON - Colorado Sen. Mark Udall, who was to appear with President Barack Obama in Denver at a Democratic fundraiser Wednesday, says he's too busy with legislative business in Washington to attend. In a statement, Udall said that "due to last-minute votes and legislative activity" he will be unable to make the trip back to Colorado for the event.

Udall is also ensnared in the Lois Lerner missing emails scandal.

Campaign Contributions Ensnare 2014 DEMOCRATS in IRS’s Missing Emails Scandal
Colorado Observer. ^ | June 19, 2014 | Audrey Hudson / FR Posted 6/21 by george76

...... missing among the IRS’s internal emails are communications with Sens. Mark Udall, Mark Begich, and a dozen other Democrats who received campaign contributions from the federal agency’s union.

Democratic senators who took campaign donations from the IRS union include Sens. Mary Landrieu of Louisiana who received $25,500, Al Franklin of Minnesota with $5,000, and Mark Begich of Alaska.

Both couples were on vacation on Martha's Vineyard---M/M Obama joined
Hillary and Bill at the birthday party of Ann Jordan. Hillary said she was
looking forward to a “hug-out” after her deleterious remarks went viral.

HILL AND OBOBO "HUG IT OUT" AT ELITE MARTHA'S VINEYARD ENCLAVE: Hillary Clinton dissed Obama’s foreign policy
failures....comments seen as an attempt to create space from an unpopular White
House. The "hug-out" was to assure the aghast lefty vote sipping chilled Cristal
that her remarks weren’t meant as an attack on their beloved Black man.

"No big deal---you wanted to pepper spray terrorists, I wanted to water-bomb them w/ happy face balloons."

Wiping away a tear, Obama's former van driver, Tommy Vietor
said of the hug-out, “They’re friends and human beings first,” he sobbed.

Vietor sat in on Situation Room briefings and had National
Security Clearance. Vietor now does "messaging" for a living.

Hillary hired Vietor to mastermind her rollicking pre-campaign book tour
(as the $14 million book deal went straight to the $2 bin).

What difference, at this point, does it make?

It is funny to see these cheats and liars come out slugging when it is their turn to try and lead...back stabbers all of them...and the US New kisses their arses all the time....which is why no one should ever listen to them as serious commentators or true investigative journalist....pathetic!

We have to be very careful when we read news stories about struggling Democrats and Obama down in the polls——these are friendly cautionary tales, intended as a heads-up for the Democrat voter fraud machine to rev up.

Even though the residual effect is to encourage those of us on the outside looking in——the Obamanations will not give up power easily....Obama has many, many top secret irons in the fire. He is not done by a longshot.

Losing the Senate and the House are not options this power-crazed tyrant will consider. IMHO, he is very confident...and soldiers on w/ abominable policies.... b/c he knows where massive voter fraud will be activated.

AGREED 100%. I would watch as a kid in the 80's my grandfather support a losing Democrat that had no chance to win - while also supporting a Republican he knew was going to win...I always was amazed the such politics took place - but as I found out - everyone did it - and was considered normal... You are right - these stories are out there to rally the Democrats up to vote... I just spoke with a woman that is very conservative - but has voted Demo-rat - and was going to vote for Hillary - but has no idea how that will impact her business and property...totally unaware...and just smiles... reminds me of this photo from later 30's in Germany..

everyone thought this was going to work out for them - well, it didn't despite all the emotions...
