Rev. Al Sharpton says the shooting of a black Missouri teenager by a white police officer which has spurred a week of rancorous and sometimes violent protests in suburban St. Louis will become a defining moment on how this country deals with policing.
The civil rights activist, speaking at a rally Sunday afternoon in Ferguson, Mo., also urged people who are protesting the death of 18-year-old Michael Brown to remain peaceful in their actions.
Some are angry and out of control. And others are taking advantage of it. And dont take advantage of their child, said Sharpton, referring to Browns parents....

Scr#W you, Al.
NotSoSharp needs to go after the derelict absent Dads.
Of course he asks for peaceful demonstrations. He knows they won’t remain that way, and he can avoid any responsibility.
Unarmed black teenage shot and killed by white policeman as teen ran from the police.
The likely truth:
Strong arm, 6' 4", 270 lb, 18 year old black robber, stopped by police officer, with whom he struggled for the policeman's gun, is shot once by the officer and then runs, but when the officer orders him to stop, he turns on the officer and charges him and is shot several times and killed. The truth does not fit the race hustling, race baiting narrative, so Sharpton, Jackson, and the new Black Panthers call the truth a lie and urge more violence. And Holder and Obama abett this behavior, and do nothing to stop it.
Animals acting like animals. Put that in your pipe and smoke it Rev Al.
I think we do have a problem with how police act in this country but I have no sympathy for these animals.
MSNBC sends in their Ace.
everything is a “defining moment” for the left when it is politically convenient
I heard a portion of Sharpton’s speech. I was stunned to hear him state that what has happened in Ferguson is the most disgusting thing he has heard of in all his years as an activist. (Paraphrasing). Is he kidding? First of all, that statement defiles every legitimate racial murder victim who ever lived. Secondly, i can cite horrific black on white murders that are so violent and vicious they are unspeakable, like the rape and murder of elderly white women, how about the black pieces of crap that shot the austrailian baseball player because they were bored. Actually, the list is endless. When do whites get to speak?
Should be quiet tonight with tomorrow being a work day and all.
I’m hoping for the day when Sharpton (or Jackson) shows up at an event like this and local black leaders publicly say “Al (or Jesse), this is none of your f*****g business. Now get your ass out of here and go back to where you came from”.
When that day comes, the black community will have reached a point where change is still possible. They may never become Republicans but they may try to get past the “I Wantz Mine” or “It’s all Whitey’s Fault” mentality.
I’m not holding my breath though.
There have been many, many “defining moments” over the last few years. I guess they were ignored and didn’t count because it may have been a white guy getting shot, or a dog.
Don’t make me laugh.
defining moment on how this country deals with policing.
Gee Al I did not see you making any kind of statements about the heavy handedness of the Federal Government at the Bundy Ranch standoff.
Lol! This will continue until the next checks are sent out just like in LA during the king mess.
LOL, I hope you are joking. This crowd probably doesn’t work.
I suppose looting and stuff could be classified as hard work.
However, whenever there is even an inference or unconfirmed claim of white on black wrong-doing, the finger-pointing and blanket societal and institutional claims of deliberate rascist criminal assertions fly immediately and are taken for granted by the Obama Administration, the "Justice" Dept,. and the race-victim shake-down industry.
Unfortunately, Rand Paul has shown himself to be similarly foolish and opportunistic in this instance.
