Officer sees Brown and others walking on the street. They match the description given of those involved in a strong arm robbery recently committed in the same area. Cop initiates contact. Brown fights officer, getting inside the vehicle and there is a struggle for the cop’s sidearm. Gun goes off in vehicle. Brown retreats, then advances on officer. Officer fires multiple shots, killing Brown.
Brown’s accomplice at the robbery peddles a story that has Brown on his knees surrendering to cop who then executes them. Media portrays Brown as good kid headed to college. Riots follow, with a police response. Feds and State get involved, put pressure on local cops to back off. Media focus on optics of cops in military gear vs. rioters and assumption that Brown was killed unjustly. President shoots off mouth with a statement that tends to encourage those thinking cop was in the wrong.
Local cops release the video of the robbery that tends to support their guy as behaving reasonably. Photos of Brown flashing gang signs on his social media surface. Witness claiming execution is also on the video of the robbery, calling his testimony into question. Second hand account of cop’s version published.
Video surfaces that has a conversation in the background that has a witness, not knowing he’s being recorded, saying that Brown was headed back at the cop when he was shot. Tends to match the second hand account of cop. Physical evidence backs up cop, most notably shell casing in car.
All the while media beats drums of racism and injustice, often printing or broadcasting inflammatory assumptions. Usual cast of race hustlers arrives, Sharpton, Jackson, New Black Panthers. Brown family retains same attorney who handled the Trayvon Martin media circus.
It’s essentially Feds, State, media and Black Victim Industry vs. local cops and cop who did the shooting. Black Panthers call for death of cop and DOJ does nothing. Release of evidence tending to support cop called unhelpful and inflammatory by State and Feds. Media releases address of cop, along with dirt on his parents. Slowly, local officials who aren’t cooperating with DOJ and State being put out of the way.
Best source for information besides FR is The Conservative Treehouse. They did some amazing digging during the Saint Trayvon farce and the Brown shooting seems to be playing out in almost exactly the same way, except that the cop has up till now had allies within his department. How long that will last with the pressures being brought down on them remains to be seen.

So what if he raised his hands when it finally dawned on him his skin color wasn’t going to get him a free pass for charging the officer?
I wish the kid had lived his life differently. He didn’t. End of story.

Mr Johnson was the accomplice with Brown in the strong-arm robbery in the liquor store. Clear as possible on the video tape.
I would hardly call him credible as a ‘witness’.

No way will he be remembered as a 12 year old Trayvon. The picture of Michael Brown’s corpse, bottoms up, black undies exposed, with his pants down at his knees, will take care of that...no dignity. Someone should have flung a sheet over his body. A message to all others who won’t pull up their pants, if you can’t periodically yank them up they will fall to the ground. Where I used to live, an officer was chasing a young thief with his pants at half mast across the parking lot of a store, and his pants fell totally down. He jumped out of them, and continued running in just his undies. Even the policeman was laughing during the chase. Ludicrous!
