We DO know that the gentle giant got into fisticuffs in the guy’s police vehicle, that he tried to take his gun.

Thought I also saw that somewhere. Any other reporting on it ?

There have been many allegations against Perry but little fire where all the smoke is.This current hit on him appears to be totally political, IMHO. This lady was drunk out of her mind! Perry is justified in what he is doing, IMHO.

Agreed, the only reason he is being mourned is he is a liberal.

When it comes to show biz, I have the ability to divorce my own politics when it comes to assessing/enjoying actors and actresses, musicians and creative writers.

But leftie stand-up comics generally leave me flat—so I assume the politics is influencing me.

So, while I still greatly admire work done by flaming lefties like Alec Baldwin (Hunt for Red October), Linda Ronstadt (just about all of it but especially the stuff with Nelson Riddle), and Paddy Chayefski (Network, The Hospital), the best I can say about a guy like Williams is that I appreciate how much many people (rodguy included) liked him and saw him as a “genius” — but that I’d be inclined to side with bray in the end. The butt of his joke was inevitably America and, to me, that ain’t funny.

I think you're right about that... Democrats treat blacks like the abused wife who has no other place to go... And you're right about a lot of blacks starting to question democrat's “words” when they can see their actions. And those ‘actions’ don't line up with what they're saying.

Hispanics will take entry level jobs from blacks because they're willing to work for less to stay here. Democrat have decided to pit the two groups against each other... each group competing for scraps liberal elites toss them.

It's disgusting... and it's not our way. This country's more gracious than that - or used to be...

Looks like NBC going all in on race baiting this morning - I assume Iggy Pop will be filling in for DNC Dave?

They'll just move to safer neighborhoods, and bring the crime with them.

Yeah, maybe a move here and a move there... but after a while moving grows old. The 'charm' and glamor of the 'hood' will disappear with this system. because it will cost too much. Natural incentives work...

So guys, below a snippet of an email I just received. Forgive me for lack of humility but I needed a ray of sunshine soooooooo bad and this is it.

Also looks like I might get free tickets to some events. Yeah I ask for them because hey, I'm going, I write about it, I give them publicity (when I put up a post it takes many minutes to get back into the site)...so somebody should pay my way.

Heh.

Anyway....well this part of my life has been going well for me, let yon reader think I am loosing my happiness. Got a great story about a local guy arrested the day AFTER his election-prosecution led by Beau BIDEN-and I wrote a great piece about him. Did because a)-everything I wrote was true and b)I took a stand. Maybe more on this later

Pat,

Not sure I told you, but it was so comforting to receive your handshake last Monday night after my little talk at the GOP meeting. The look in your eyes, coupled with your firm handshake told my spirit, "everything is gonna be alright". I wish I could bottle you and sell to every good candidate I meet. We'd be gazillionaires. ....

FYI...I'll be arriving late to the debate, well right on time, as I will be coming from the Teen Challenge Crab Feast and Watermelon Extravaganza at Trap Pond. I hope to see you at both events. If you don't have tickets yet, I know folks who have extra to both and would love to see them put to good use.

Using fear of the police as a motivator too.

Even when I was a liberal I didn’t find his humor funny. Imagine the coverage if it were Clint Eastwood had killed himself and how they would be investigating every question to destroy his character.

No doubt he won some Academy Awards which have become Nobelized, but I can’t think of one of his movies I enjoyed. Being a Marxist has its advantages in Hollywood and being a conservative can get you blacklisted.

Missed the Sunday morning shows.

Stayed up late watching the online streams of the Ferguson showdown. The Gov had set midnight as the curfew time. Protesters challenged the police. Police, after about 40 minutes, brought in SWAT and smoke grenades and sonic cannon.

Per news on-the-ground 2 people were shot, but it was unclear whether they were bystanders, protesters, civilians and who the shooter(s) were.

By about 1:40, the rain got heavy and with the SWAT dispersals, the crowd dissipated.

Someone posted in one of the live threads that they heard the loudest protesters were a group out of Chicago.

[Paid protecters? I would not be a bit surprised. FEDs and Media seemed to want this to turn into a hot-bed situation.]

Store owners WITHOUT police protection in Ferguson should to sue the city.

People who own or operate stores in neighborhoods with those demographics should expect to have certain periods of outage and should expect that they will have to carry the cost. When I had a store-front business in a strip mall, the local municipality plowed the snow on the roads, the mall landlord plowed the parking lot and shoveled the walks, but I still had a snow shovel in the backroom for when I opened before the walks got shoveled. And bags of ice melt for the parts of the walk that needed it.

Sorry, but in some areas, having an occasional riot or looting spree is an expected cost of doing business. It may not happen every year, but it is reasonable to expect that it will happen.

Business owners who have operations in those areas should expect that sometimes the store will be closed because of riots or looting. It's easy to feel sorry for the person who builds a house on a mud-slide prone hill or a low area next to a large river that floods every now and then, but is that really grounds for a lawsuit when it goes bad?

If living near criminals cost money - the black culture’s attitude toward crime will change.

Oh I can hear the nanny state libtard heads exploding when they hear this!!

It reminds me of the racial strife of the 1960s when the FEDs got involved in funding local schools and the argument that the poor school districts were not getting a good education because their community couldn't afford it. SO TO A LIBTARD THE ANSWER WAS TO SEND MONEY TO THE DISTRICT OF CORRUPTION AND LET THE FEDS DOLE IT OUT TO THE POOR DISTRICTS IT FAVORS.

IMHO under our current nanny state system, all politics ARE NOT local.

How is it that Obama and the DNC are saying Iraq is now a risk to the US when Hussain was not. They need to be called out and the GOP should point out they wanted to keep a force there to stop this exact threat.

The Justice Dept is actually sending in paid provocateurs to gin up the riots and community reaction.

All new definition of “Justice” under AG WithHolder, HopenChange style.

Did you ever, in your wildest imagination, think you’d be seeing our Dept of Justice provoking riots...and stopping our FBI from investigating said orders?

What should we expect from this regime. They have to get the blacks to vote in the midterms and what a better way to do it than riots.

Also these Democrats feel free to use the US Military in this war in Iraq at their discretion, while they complained about Bush getting authorization from Congress.

Proving that I was right.

The admin is asking for some time....wanted time before naming cop...as I understand tried to take down the video of the robbery.

So Obama raises money, gins up the base, gets out the vote.

I know this is true and I’m pretty sure the pubs know it.

No opposition party is a large part of this country’s problem.
