It is long past time for the Texas legislature to permanently remove all authority of the Travis County District Attorney’s Office to conduct political prosecutions of state officials.

Transfer all jurisdiction to the Texas Attorney General’s Office where it belongs.

Yup, but the Austin libs would never stand for that. Got to have their sucky influence on the entire election process.
