August 15, 2014 18:11 GMT

FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) -- The friend who was with Michael Brown when he was shot and killed by a police officer near St. Louis over the weekend is reportedly confirming that he and Brown had taken part in the theft of cigars from a convenience store that day.

That word comes from the attorney for Dorian Johnson, speaking to MSNBC. Police in Ferguson had earlier announced that Brown was suspected of taking cigars from the convenience store in what was described as a "strong-arm robbery.

In an interview with msnbc shortly after the report was released, Johnson’s lawyer confirmed that Brown had taken cigars from the store.

“We see that there’s tape, that they claim they got a tape that shows there was some sort of strong-armed robbery,” said Freeman Bosley, Johnson’s attorney. “We need to see that tape, my client did tell us and told the FBI that they went into the store. He told FBI that [Brown] did take cigarillos. He told that to the DOJ and the St. Louis County Police.”

If you see the stills from the store video, Brown was doing more than threatening the owner/employee. He put his hands on him.

Hilarious seeing this on FR immediately above the story about how residents are saying it wasn’t them in the video.

Makes it sound like they simply just picked up a pack of a cigarillos and walked out of the store, when in fact the big fatty confronted the much smaller shop owner.

Attorney Freeman Bosley Jr. faces malpractice lawsuit

Missouri wants Freeman Bosley Jr.’s law license suspended for two years

++++++++++++

wiki:

Upon graduation from law school, Bosley was staff attorney for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, specializing in Consumer Affairs and Utility Companies. Bosley has also been employed by the law firm of Boast and Jordan.

Bosley was selected as the first African-American St. Louis Circuit Clerk for the 22nd Judicial Circuit, a position he held for ten years. He later served as the 3rd Ward Democratic Committeeman. He then became chairman of the St. Louis City Democratic Central Association and subsequently became the first African-American chairman of the Democratic Party in St. Louis City.

Bosley became the first African-American mayor of St. Louis on April 6, 1993 with 66.5% of the vote. Early in his administration, he oversaw the city’s struggle during the Flood of 1993. Bosley also assisted in orchestrating the $70 million bailout of Trans World Airlines. He helped move the Los Angeles Rams football team to St. Louis from Anaheim, California. Two property tax increases were passed during the Bosley Administration.

Bosley’s term was colored by corruption scandals. Crime increased throughout north St. Louis city and his popularity plummeted. He was defeated by Clarence Harmon in his bid for re-election in 1997. In 2001, when Bosley ran for mayor in the Democratic Primary, he was defeated again by a wide margin, this time by Francis Slay.

Mr. Bosley is currently the Principal of Bosley and Associates, L.L.C.

Listen up, we cannot let facts get in the way of a good story - or is that the motto of the left wing media.

Friend says he and Michael Brown robbed store.
Not the first time. IIRC, Brown has a juvenile record with three or four convictions for committing violent crime.
Saw his record somewhere on the Internet, can't find it now.
But not to worry, I'm suuuuure it'll come up on the ABCNBCCBSCNNpMSNBC evening newscasts.

The cameras suggest that it was robbery with violence. And now they are reporting that it happened on the same day, which agrees with the theory that the police got involved in the first place because they were responding to the robbery report.

Plus, the friend was one of the robbers, which certainly casts doubt on his witness story claiming that the copy shot an unarmed victim who wasn’t threatening anyone.
