When our educational system hires professors who reject the bill of rights and the constitutional freedoms of a 16 year old girl the system has failed. And blames this on the “Cultural legacy of Slavery” of which she has never been a part of is perhaps the dumbest defense I have ever heard in my life. How the University actually agrees with this says that children should never consider attending UC Santa Barbara for any educational goals. The staff and the professors clearly are uneducated little twits. Should I say more? And I once considered allowing my daughter to go there and she chose SDSU instead and now works at Scripts.

So in other words, she was mentally ill. She should not have been allowed around children and teenagers without adult or police supervision.
If a person were a professor, they would have challenged the 16YO on her understanding of Civil and constitutional rights, then commended her for being brave to voice her opinion with passion. Unfortunately this “professor” would be better suited as an ISIS Islamic enforcer who condemns young women who speak out. ISIS is looking for women just like her
