Seven deadly sins: pride (the first and root of all the others), anger, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, sloth. OK.
I take it all back.

The "sins" apply to them, not you. I wouldn't dream of insulting you. You're one of good guys, white hat.

Anger? I hope that excludes righteous anger! If you're not angry about abortion, terrorism and the looming progressive takeover and loss of rights, you're not paying attention!Jesus expressed righteous anger, I know.
I listed the seven deadly sins that the Catholic Church described. I didn't make them up, really. Anger was one of those listed. That's why "anger" was mentioned...not to rouse YOU to anger at me for whatever you believe I mis-wrote.
If I were angry about all those things you mentioned I would be angry 24/7. That's not a way I want to live. However, if you want to live that way, it's your choice.
For me, a better way to live is to pray for those people who are involved in those horrors you mentioned. Only our good Lord can do that.
Besides, the New Testament showed our Lord angry ONCE. YOU being angry at me for a post I wrote on a public forum, under one of the many, many forums, about anger, in writing about the proverbial seven deadly sins, shows that YOU must be pretty bored or angry to take such time and effort to scold me for something so minor.
God bless you and yours!

He was right.
Human nature is essentially animalistic, but with the knowledge of good and evil capable of deciding upon the actions.
An animal has no evil in its nature, it reacts without thinking of the consequences, for its own survival and the survival of its kind.
Humans can choose, whereas animals are like programmed robots than react to situations according to their programming................ALL true.

I, like all am a sinner. I just hope that righteous anger is among the worst of my sins. Prayers are welcomed; God Bless you as well.

Yes, some things are worthy of anger.
I WILL pray for you. I'm going to a 5:30 P.M. Mass tonight, in honor of the Assumption. It will be for you and yours!
