Thanks, Chip. if Scoutmaster's post is the more accurate account, that the officer was 'knocked back towards the cruiser' and ' the policeman then drew his handgun, put Brown in a headlock with his other arm, and pulled Brown back to the car' then wouldn't that would contradict Mr. Johnson's version that the officer could not/did not exit the vehicle until after the first shot? But again, it's going to go back to forensics.

Don’t police typically have dash cameras or other video equipment rolling? Was there more than one cruiser? If so, and he had a camera going, that would show a lot.

Mr. Johnson clearly states that the door was closed, the officer was still in the car when he grabs Mr. Brown. In this version he says the door only hits Mr. Brown. Mr. Johnson is probably telling the beginning, and the ending,

The door slamming closed after hitting the kid doesn’t mean that the officer didn’t reopen the door again and “it was then that he grabbed his friend by the neck”.

The door being pushed or bouncing back at him is what the officer is calling being forced back into his car — a bit of an exaggeration.

When I saw the QT looted then burned, I took it a little personally. It’s funny to hear the people in the neighborhood saying, “They burned my QT.”

Why is he putting his hands on Brown in the first place???? What crime did he commit???

And even if he did you tell the kid to turn around "you're under arrest" and put the handcuffs on him.

And then calling that "an assault"???

They won’t. Here in KC a black Muslim was shooting at random white people on the highways. That’s just the way it goes. The government used the public schools to make a bunch of animals, then released them from prison, gave them an entitlement culture, made a bunch of warrior cops to contain them (and us), and here we are.

I wasn't certain from what I read that the officer ever made it out of the car before the first shot was fired. The 'eyewitness' testimonies involved the officer back up right alongside the men and throwing the cruiser door open while the men were standing in its path.

One or more of the 'eyewitness' testimonies has the officer wrapping one arm around Brown's neck through the open cruiser window after the cruiser door bounced back, while holding his firearm in the other hand.

That of course is 'eyewitness' testimony, notoriously unreliable, and not the official police report of a possible bad shooting, which is also notoriously unreliable.
