Nixon wasn’t that bad. A bunch of people did stupid crap and he covered it up. That was his only wrong (besides starting the EPA and price controls).

Agreed. Nixon’s own prior negative experience with the media
should have informed him that he would never get away with the
same crap as his predessors LBJ and JFK, both Democrats.
