Weiner doesn’t give a crap about the food business, or for that matter, his past or future constituents. This idea has to be the product of some focus group, brainstorming for ideas about how to make him relevant enough so he can try for re-election.
I think Weenie is hedging against a Hillary defeat.
If Hillary wins, he’s a lock for a gravy DC job (probably a lobbyist) and Huma will be WH Chief of Staff.
He probably misses all the celebs he used to meet as a powerful(?) congressman.
He most likely hopes his new restaurant will attract the ‘in crowd’ like Elaine’s used to...............

Hopefully he’ll be paying all his employees a living wage of at least $25/hour.
But, there’s no indication he knows f**k-all about the restaurant business, or anything else for that matter. Unlike most politicians, he wasn’t even a lawyer first.
Why should he be able to create a restaurant that will attract the glitzy? Maybe there’s the possibility that someone will do it for him as part of the Huma-Clinton connection that I’m not taking into account.

We actually have a Restaurant for sale here about 6 blocks away that would be the perfect one! It actually has a sign in place and one on the roof! IT’s Whatta Weiner!
There’s a Fast Food chain here in Florida that’s called Whattaburger!.............
