American military forces bombed at least two targets in northern Iraq on Thursday night to rout Islamist insurgents who have trapped tens of thousands of religious minorities in Kurdish areas, Kurdish officials said.
Word of the bombings, reported on Kurdish television from the city of Erbil, came as President Obama was preparing to make a statement in Washington.

If we screw up that humanitarian drop the food and water could end up with ISIS, so bombing ISIS should be the first thing to happen around the exterior of that mountain, so the Christian refugees actually get the food/water dropped.

Certainly a good thing. Unless we provide arm and resupply to the Kurds, not thru Baghdad, and unless we strike at Isis where we see them in the vicinity, this may only allow many to die with a full stomach. Hopefully I'm wrong. If we were going to act, I wish we had in a more timely fashion. Children dying of dehydration today might have been saved three or four days ago.
It’s a show. ISIS was/will be given plenty of notice of when and where these strikes will happen.
Now maybe ISIS will support impeachment.
