TEA PARTY MILTON WOLF EDGES CLOSER TO ESTABLISHMENT PAT ROBERTS IN KANSAS PRIMARY
Breitbart ^ | August 5, 2014 | By Robert Wilde

... According to the Senate Conservative Fund, poll numbers now show Wolf only trailing by nine points to Republican Senator Pat Roberts in the Kansas Republican primary race that will be decided on Tuesday. The race has closed steadily since January, when Wolf was down as much as 54 points. By March, he was down 26 points and has made headway every month since. The continuous and rapid closing of the race seems reminiscent of what happened in Virginia, where Dave Brat defeated House Majority Leader Eric Cantor.

Wish I had more hope but it’s a real uphill battle to unseat a sitting Senator. Still, prayers up.

Has KS ever defeated a senator? Surely not since the 1930s if then?

Early voting? That favors the incumbent. A lot of faithful Republicans will have already cast a vote while sentiment is still shifting.

I hope I'm wrong and a lot of the early voters have already decided to oust Roberts, while those waiting for election day are undecided.

To Kansas Voters:

Is 47 year Incumbent Pat Roberts part of the problem, or part of the solution, IYHO, of course?

Pat, Thad and Lamar, I’d love a Trifecta. Mississippi is still in play IMHO after hearing of the press release yesterday...

It’s gonna come down to turnout. Wolf’s voters are energized..not sure how motivated Robert’s voters are. We shall see.

A pox on early voting. How that concept ever met or exceeded efforts to vilify it as the danger to honest voting I will never know. Six weeks in this state. You could be a convicted felon incarcerated before anyone voting for you had a clue. Well maybe that’s a stretch, but you get the idea.

I’m not a Kansas voter, but I think Sen. Roberts is equal amounts of problem and solution. He’s been in DC for so long, and had is azz kissed so much by lobbyists and others seeking his political favors, it’s more about the bacon he can take home to Kansas.

good for you you just helped Harry Reid keep his majority. These tea party candidiates are not helpiong why dont you go after the democrat seats that are in question rather than take down a real conservative like Pat Roberts

You could be a convicted felon incarcerated before anyone voting for you had a clue.

The flip side of that statement is that early voting tends to tends to blunt the impact of last minute "fake but accurate" revelations. You now must have something which rallies those who do not normally vote to the polls (see Mississippi).

The control of the senate in the hands of democrats has put us in the mess of health care, liberal judges on the bench, to name a few. McConnel may not be able to hold on to his seat, but Pat Roberts could. McConnell even if he holds on to his seat, might not hold the majority leadership. Do you ever watch c=span live while the senate is place or senate committee hearings? I dont mean sound bites I mean the whole session. DIck Durbin will be up next when Harry retires. He lies as much as Harry Reid.
My real concern is there are a number of seats that conservatives could gain. Bulld the numbers up and then strt looking at the rhinos as some call them. I would rather have anyh of the rhinos than the dems that will beat the teasa party candidates.
