President Barack Obama is gathering nearly 50 African heads of state in Washington for an unprecedented summit aimed in part at building his legacy on a continent where his commitment has been questioned.
But the backdrop for the conference that begins Monday underscores what has been a constant challenge to that effort. Even as Obama immerses himself in talks on regional security, democracy building and business investment in Africa, the world's attention — and much of his own — will be on an extraordinary array of urgent overseas crises.

Well, I for one would like him to repatriate himself back to his Motherland. Build a multi-room mud hut, trek the nearby wadis for goats and other fauna, and to live the life of his ancestors.
Obama's legacy could easily be a map like this, but of Ebola's spread in the United States. Even a major outbreak with thousands of cases in the USA wouldn't be the worst he has done to us, just the first catastrophe that the media couldn't cover up.

They should call this the Ebola Conference. Sheesh. Is there worse timing for The Worst President Ever than this? It’s like inviting Algore to a Global Warming Conference and having several climate change experts stabbed by giant ice spears falling from the roof.
a crisis OUT of the Nation....one with a big enotional draw....is just what doctor Valerie prescribed...to draw attention away ftom the very growing very real SCANDALS here at home.
Here's my concern: Since we are bringing two Americans suffering from Ebola back to the United States for treatment, in what will be presented as "an act of compassion", Obama will agree to start bringing African Ebola patients to this country "so they can receive critical medical treatment that is unavailable in their own country." Anyone who complains will, of course, demonized as uncaring and insensitive to the needs of these desperately ill individuals. (And of course will also be called racist.)
Obama’s legecy is and will be recorded as The Worst President in our history.
As I recall, Bush gave something like 15 billion to Africa to fight AIDS. Obama will probably go for 2-3X that amount.

Obama’s legacy in Africa will be terrorism, rape and Ebola. He is an utter failure at everything he has influenced.
