The House of Representatives voted Friday evening to pass a bill that blocks President Barack Obama from continuing or expanding executive amnesty via the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program or programs like it.

Cory Gardner, eh?

And this guy is the R Senate candidate in CO. That’s not exactly the way to gain conservative support.

Thank you for posting this information. This seals it for me. I WILL NOT VOTE for Mike Coffman. He has shown himself to be a COMPLETE RINO. (e.g.: his vote for the current version of the VAVA, his push for amnesty (with support of the Chamber of Commerce), and now his lack backbone to combat Obama acting like a dictator.) Mike Coffman served this country honorably as a Marine, but in his congressional career he has acted like an anti-American sellout and COMPLETE PUSSY. I proudly supported him in the primary to succeed Tom Tancredo in 2008, and again in 2010 and 2012. BUT NEVER AGAIN. I was already a probable vote against him, but now there is no doubt.

Cory Gardner is another disappointment. This vote may very well cost him a lot of conservative support in his bid to take out Mark Udall. I guess he is a COMPLETE FRAUD as well. I thought I would definitely support him in his bid against Udall, but now I’m uncertain I will support him. I may very well stay home and not vote because there’s truly no point. I guess he feelas it’s more important to stand for the wetback vote than stand up for Americans and fight against this invasion—which itself is violation of the Guarantee Clause of art. IV sec. 4 of the U.S. Constitution./rwa

The pigs accusing Republicans of wishing death upon these children might appreciate similar rhetoric describing their rapacious desire to exploit the same children.

Florida? Colorado? California? Washington? Nevada?

These are hard line communist states. Letting them hear from you is a wasted effort.

It’s real simple folks....

The Executive branch DOES NOT have the Authority to do such an action. If so, then he is operating outside of U.S. Law and the U.S. Constitution. It’s just that simple.

Anything else is simply a dog and pony show.

THIS NEEDS TO GO VIRAL: polls show Americans lean Repub b/c of their strong-anti-immigrants stance---FAR ABOVE all other issues.

HOW STUPID CAN HE GET? Boobamaba announced he is going to veto a solid pro-America bill.

As FReeper rlapuma wrote: I was against this but I read the bill summary and it's wonderful. We have the House taking ACTION. We have the Senate on vacation and the “president” playing golf. We look great.

==================================================

NICE TRIPLE PLAY As midterns loom.....

(1) The Repubs took ACTION (the thing Boobamba/Dems feared most),

(2) the sap-happy Senate are on vacation (salivating over their holdings), and,

(3) the “president” is off playing golf (his lips firmly-planted on Central America's behind).

===============================================

Course, it was scary when the Repubs hemmed and hawed, making a show of it, said they were moving on this.....as if they were caving in to Boobamba.

But the bill was pro-America 1000 percent....and I love the way the Pubs stuck it to Obama, calling attention to it by delaying their fall break.

Yes.

But the community agitator and "constitutional scholar" has figured out that nothing can stop him if no one stops him.

——There was no reason to vote against this that I can see.——

You provided the answer in your post...... “ the voters in their states”

Their vote was most likely the perceived will of their constituents.

I wouldn’t be so sure of the Ukrainians. They know first hand what communism is and the path that gets them there. My kids are taking Ukrainian dance lessons and, at least the people I talk to are very conservative, especially a woman college political science professor.

You’re right —

This looks to be a pretty good bill and something to shove in the Democrats’ faces as the midterms loom.

I live in Mark Amodei’s district, here is what I wrote him:

If there is one defining issue today, it is immigration. Why did you vote No on the House bill to end Obama’s deferral program that gives amnesty to illegal aliens? Do you have a problem understanding that illegal is illegal? Do you not think we should put a stop to illegal immigration and deport everyone that is here illegally? Or, as evidenced by your vote, do you instead support Obama, support his open borders policy, and his amnesty actions?

I am a Republican, I am a voter, and I will actively work against anyone that supports amnesty, regardless of their party affiliation. As a veteran, my support of America did not end when I took off my uniform. Amnesty, however it is packaged, undermines our great nation. It is treason, in my opinion, to ignore our laws, to throw open our borders.

If Reid lets it reach the senate they will never pass it they are as big of a problem as Obama is.

“At one point, Rep. Steve King (R-IA) noted that the sergeant-at-arms of the House of Representatives had to come down to the floor to restore order after Democrats loudly protested the effort by the Republican Party to block President Obama’s planned executive amnesty.”

CAT FIGHT! I have to look for the video.

Mike Coffman makes no sense. He is my rep from one of the most conservative districts in colorado. Have to find out what happened!

Again this makes no sense. He is/was on track to unseat Udall. Not sure why he would blow it with a single vote... unless he was pandering to the hispanics, which would not help him at all in Colorado....

Please don’t say that!!!!!!

What have YOU done to stop this problem????

Jeff Sessions and Ted Cruz , Marcia Blackburn, M ichele Bachmann worked like crazy to craft this tight bill......

.....whipping rhe weaker ones to hold their ground.

HAVE HOPE this could be the catalyst that breaks Obama’s hold!

“Of the 11 Republicans who voted AGAINST the bill, Adam Kinzinger of Illinois is the only one that I suspect currently has aspirations for higher office.”

Cory Gardner is currently running for U.S. Senate in Colorado against incumbent Mark Udall.

“Normally I’m not a single issue type guy. But I’ll never vote for a republican who supports amnesty. never. “

Ditto. Cory Gardner was originally elected to the House, pretending he was a conservative. I spoke with personally on many issues. I donated money and time to his campaign. Turns he’s nothing more than a chickenshit, lying, self-serving SOB who cares nothing about our country and only about getting elected. It took the spineless bastard less than four years to jettison whatever few principles he may have ever had to start with.

Spineless, self-serving, unprincipaled Republicans and implacable fascist socialist Democrats who sacrifice their own careers for the greater good of their ideology is why this country as it was originally founded is doomed.
