An enterprising blogger's diligent spadework has revealed the truth behind an Israeli 'massacre' that never was. (H/T Jonathan Foreman)
According to the Hamas version of events - widely promulgated in the media by ITN, the Telegraph and the Belfast Telegraph - an Israeli airstrike on a crowded market place during a partial ceasefire in the Shijaiyah neighbourhood of Gaza City on July 30th, 2014 was responsible for the deaths of 17 people, including blue-helmeted photojournalist Rani Rayan.
However as Thomas Wictor has incontrovertibly demonstrated using close analysis of film footage of the incident, the deaths were not caused by Israeli shrapnel but by secondary explosions from a vast cache of Hamas rockets.
Oh, and the market wasn't 'crowded' either: it had been closed for the day.

The destruction of Gaza is the goal of Hamas. The only way to get all the international funds flowing that they normally skim for terror weapons is through a re-building program. Then they get the money for more rockets and tunnels AND to line their pockets.

This has been going on right along. Somewhere around twenty percent of the rockets they’re firing don’t make it out of Gaza. The damage from those is invariably called an Israeli airstrike.

I think the people that “fall” for it as you say , are so removed from reality, and the existence of God. That they believe Israel and the Jewish people are evil. It’s what Satan wants, to bring about Armageddon. To destroy God’s chosen people. Anyone who says “God doesn’t exist”, and “Jesus wasn’t God, but just a man” will never get it. The people that say these things ALWAYS SURELY are against Israel. It’s because for some reason even BEYOND their understanding they hate Jews, and Israel. It’s because the world is being inexplicably led towards the combined eradication of Israel. Even the American government has one foot into the destroy Israel camp. Israel has become the burdensome stone.
