House Passes Border Bill, Obama Says He'll Go It Alone
House Republicans passed legislation late Friday to address the crisis on the U.S.-Mexico border by sending migrant youths back home without hearings, after winning over conservatives with tough new provisions that could lead to deporting more than half a million immigrants whom the Obama administration granted temporary work permits. President Barack Obama condemned the Republican action and said he'd act unilaterally, as best he could.
The $694 million spending bill to address the crisis at the border passed 223-189 late Friday, with only four Republicans voting "no" and one Democrat voting "yes." A vote on the second measure was expected later in the night.
A vote on a companion measure that would shut off a program created by Obama granting work permits to immigrants brought here illegally as kids. The second bill also seemed designed to prevent the more than 700,000 people who've already gotten work permits under the program from renewing them, ultimately making them subject to deportation.

A dictator eventually has to face the consequences of his actions. Obama gets to blame the fiascos he’s created on the Republicans — for the time being.
“They (the House of Reps) are not even attempting to solve the problem” moans Obummer, a problem that he created. They are trying to fix the problem Obummer!
The sad part of all this is we continue to gripe about his power grab but everyone appears powerless to stop him. Time for the States to bring suit directly against the US and demand the original jurisdiction of the Supreme Court on the basis that they are being “injured” and hence have standing.
I have watched this all day ..........Regardless of what Hussein does, the conservatives fought for this bill!.......Good on them.
They produced a bill which will fast track deportation of the criminal invaders. Seems to me they are, in fact, trying to solve the problem. Seems like the only one not trying to fix the problem is Resident Obama.

solving the problem would be sending these kids back to their families and securing the border. i know obama will not solve the problem.

House won’t do it. He’ll say they are trying to shut down the government and the media will support him.
Yes, that is a huge source of hate and discontent among the troops. I have a gut feeling that the Obungler will never be held accountable for anything, or at least not in this life.
That’s why we should dump all of the career GOP critters and put in those that are willing to do their constitutional duty.

Obama is pouting because he didn’t get his 3.7 billion to pizz away. Spoiled brat.

It’s been an especially bad day for him .... not only did he not get the money he wanted so he could spend lots & do little on the border issue, the press corp(se) didn’t even ask him about his birthday plans:
“I thought that you guys were going to ask me how I was going to spend my birthday,” he said in exasperation as the conference broke into non-birthday questions. “What happened to the birthday thing?”

Two options:
It will never see the light of day in the senate.....and they knew it so it was all to appease the voters
It will go to the Senate and Harry Reid will attach an amnesty bill to it and send it back....and they knew that and wanted that
I no longer trust any of them and am on to their silly little games.
If Zero thinks a ‘message bill’ isn’t a good step, he’s crazy. We need a “new” message - to counter his message - of “fast and furious” immigration - something that Breitbart called out in 2012:
