Colorado Starts Issuing Driver's Licenses To Undocumented Migrants Thousands will be eligible for state licenses and ID cards available to immigrants regardless of their legal status

Photograph: Brennan Linsley/AP Colorado will begin issuing driver’s licenses and identification cards to immigrants on Friday regardless of their legal status, underscoring a sea change in a state that less than a decade ago passed strict immigration enforcement laws.
Now, thousands of immigrants are waiting to get cards they hope will add a degree of legitimacy to their residency in Colorado. About 9,500 people are signed up for appointments through the next 90 days to get the documents, with more getting scheduled every day. Both people in the country illegally and those who have temporary legal status will qualify.
The demand for the licenses and identification cards has been tremendous, with the state’s website for appointments crashing at one point because of traffic, and immigrant advocates urging officials to add more locations where people can go. So far, appointments are being handled at only five locations – Denver, Aurora, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins and Grand Junction.

A nationwide rumor needs to be started and spread that the states are only doing all this stuff, and signing them up for benefits it to make it easier to find and deport the illegals.

The way things are "progressing," illegals probably don't even need to have auto/liability insurance. Insisting that they do would be "racist!"
If they plow into your car, they can sue you to fix theirs. And pay for their little "hurt" backs.
After all, what are they going to do? Refuse? Can't wait to see THAT headline:

Yep. And they will get preference over you for SS benefits with illegals hired as SS staff. Sucker.

But if they're "undocumented migrants" rather than illegal aliens, the relevant status can't be "legal status" but must instead be documentation status.

No kidding. Here in La. they did just that! Tole ole whitey to suck it up and pay their fair share, and them some.
Meanwhile, the same DL center was crowded with south of the border types who were served in Spanish and issued licenses with just a passport from Honduras or Mexico or El Salvador or wherever.
