The federal government is asking paramedics and firefighters to be on the lookout for “extremists” as part of a program that aims to uncover “suspicious activity.”
A bulletin released in March 2014 by the FBI, Department of Homeland Security and the National Counterterrorism Center, obtained this week by Public Intelligence, contains details of a program entitled “Emergency Medical Treatment Presents Opportunity for Discovery of Violent Extremist Activities.”
The bulletin, which was sent out to firefighters, emergency medical service personnel and other first responders nationwide, encourages these groups to watch for “indicators of violent extremist activities” during their line of work.
First responders are asked to “evaluate whether an injury is a genuine accident or related to violent extremist activity,” by noting “hastily or expediently treated injuries” which “may be signs of suspicious activity.”
The thought of EMTs becoming distracted by a function which allows them to pretend they have a starring role in CSI Miami, instead of promptly treating someone who is seriously burned, will not fill potential victims of such accidents with much confidence.

The simple solution is to avoid at all costs having anything to do with so-called first responders.
How long before the same type of memo goes out to Schools and doctor’s offices, to the staff in the offices? The Fascist are swarming, Amerika.
They will be watching for Bibles, copies of the Constitution, military-style haircuts, NRA stickers, hunting gear, and other warning signs of people who don’t worship FedGov.

When I lived in the Bay Area (CA), our pediatrician asked my wife and I at our first post birth check - up if we owned any guns and if they were in our home. My answer was (this is a direct quote, with a minor redaction) “That’s absolutely none of your f____ing business, doctor.”
That appointment was in February 1994.

Most of the firefighters and paramedics never read this crap. The feds put out stuff like this all the time and in reality compared to the number of “notices” they send few are even read IMO. This stuff is like PSA’s that the feds waste billions on telling people not to fall down stairs because *gasp* they could be hurt. LOL.
I’d bet more people read this story about what the government sent out than those that actually read what the government sent:)

I think the counter to this kind of intrusion is manifold. First, cultivate conservatives within the EMT community. These folks have seen up close the devastating effects of government’s half-baked “solutions.” Not all of them will side with the nazis.
Second, create as much “noise” as possible. Overload the system with false data and red herrings. If every time Grandma falls and can’t get up, the responders encounter a “terrorist” cell that’s a false front, the Gestapo will soon realize that their field intel is worthless.
Then there’s always the option of harassing the responders you know are tools of the tyrants. It shouldn’t be hard to uncover the ones who have their noses up the Overlords’ butts. And being an EMT can be a dangerous job ya know ...
