When I interviewed The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart two years ago for a documentary I co-directed, The Muslims Are Coming!, one of the questions I posed to the talk show host was: Do you think your show has had an impact on issues?
Surprisingly, Stewart responded “no.” At first, my co-director, Negin Farsad, and I thought Stewart was being unduly modest. But he was actually being sincere. Stewart went on to list issues he had railed against for years—such as media sensationalism—and noted that nothing tangible had changed despite his best efforts.
But if that question were put to Stewart today, honesty would compel him to answer that his efforts have changed the way many who follow him now view one issue: the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Specifically, Stewart has raised awareness about the human toll that this conflict has inflicted upon Palestinian civilians.

Perhaps if the people in Gaza stood up to the rocketeers, they would have fewer problems.
Or if they wish to take an opposing view, perhaps Hamas needs bigger rockets if they intend to engage in rocket fights.
He wasn’t raised very well, was he.
He’s right. Hamas has truly exacted a terrible toll on the “Palestinian” civilians that voted for them.

I am sorry the Palestinian people are suffering, but the undeniable fact is their actions and decisions bring it on themselves.

John Stewart is just another crappy entertainer. Right up there with a Carney in drag.
Hamas terrorist push civilians to the front of the battle and cry foul when they, the civilians, are killed. While the Hamas cowards cower in their bunkers and tunnels.
So many muslim “comedians” these days.
Just like the art museums are stuck on retrospectives of the wonders of Islamic art and Palestinian/Iranian/etc films.
I’m tired of the agitprop war. There isn’t a cultural exchange. Their society is closed to the West and non-Islamic faiths.
These monsters will kill anyone who gets in their way.
That is why the left always supports them.
That is when I realized that the Palestinian side was full of animals. IMHO, they have no rights until they purge themselves of the animals.
Israel should extend to once-owned Gaza,
