Iraq's second city "free of Christians" (Ethnic Cleansing)

Christians have fled en masse from Mosul, Iraq's second-largest city, abandoning communities that date back to the first centuries of Christianity.

Islamic extremists who now control the city gave Christians until midday Saturday to convert to Islam, pay a tax or face death.

According to MidEast Christian News, the IS rulers ordered hospitals to dismiss Christian doctors and female employees. The report says extremists also marked the houses of Christians as "Property of the Islamic State".

By the time the deadline imposed by the Islamic State expired, most Christians were gone. Mosul, where Christianity has existed for nearly 2,000 years, was now virtually "free of Christians".

As Christian families drove out of the city some reported being stopped at IS check points and robbed of gold earrings, cell phones and other valuables.

With their few remaining possessions, most Christians headed for areas in northern Iraq where they would be under the protection of the Kurdish security forces.

Some fled to the town of Qaraqoush, where they found temporary lodging at a monastery.

Genocide. Bush 1 Bush 2 Clinton and now the icing on the rotten cake Obama all contributed to this.

Actually it’s genocide, which is actionable by any signatory of the Genocide Convention. Which includes the US. You’d think Samantha Power, the genocide expert, would have something to say.

Christians aren’t politically aligned with the terrorist Palestinians like the media are.

It is NOT “ethnic cleansing” since Christianity isn’t an ethnicity. It would properly be termed either a holocaust since the sacrifice is to the pagan god of Islam, or best termed a pogrom.

And are people really surprised this is happening? Jesus said there’d be days like this

It’s time to bring back the Crusades.

Imho, a low yield W88 detonated at 1k altitude over Mecca, Medina and Qom will solve the problem.

Some genocides are more equal than others.

They’re empty most of the year.

I’d focus on the real source of power — the oilfields.

... not too many Muslims are for the ISIS group

That may be true, but how many are against ISIS? The same might be said in Gaza ... not too many Muslims in Gaza are for Hamas. I didn't see Iraqis put up a strong resistance to ISIS when they arrived. In fact, it only takes ISIS a day or two to take over the towns and cities that they control. I don't see Iraqis making a concerted effort to eliminate ISIS and those that support them. As for Muslims in Gaza, they are doing absolutely nothing about Hamas.

Face it, Muslims are either terrorists or the support terrorism by doing nothing. Blood is on every Muslim's hands in the world. That is why it is a death cult.

I lean toward option 4. I’ve said for decades that One has to defend ones own ‘hood. I have a little trouble being sympathetic to folks who cut and run without so much as a round house punch. The only way to command a little respect from these muslothugs is to take out a few of their teeth and if they are not willing to stand and fight they will run forever. Missing front teeth probably sounds more like “praith affaw.” Anybody in Iraq could have had a weapon so lacking one is no excuse. Being a pacifist will get your azz kicked every time. And BTW-—the same is true for the folks in Egypt who are getting shoved around.

“All part of the Christians fleeing the Middle East.”

Soon, there will be “no where” for Christians to go. But, we KNOW this because we are told by Jesus this would come yo pass. It is written in God’s Word that TRUE followers of Christ would, in the last days, face this truth. Though a test of ALL tests we must stay STRONG in our faith, and know that Jesus is with us every step of the way....even when it doesn’t seem so to us. Even to the end of this Age.

Praise You Jesus, for YOU take the ‘sting’ out of death.

And the “leaders” of the f***ing western countries say absolutely nothing.

Don't we have a Pope or something like that? Awfully quiet from the Vatican.

As much as I hate the muzzies, at least their imans rally & agitate on behalf of their fellow terrorists.

Tragic that Christianity, once the Middle East’s predominant religion, is now its most endangered one. Seems too harsh a clime for a religion based on turning the other cheek to survive there.

Strikes me as bizarre that serious Christians in the US go to the mat for Israeli Jews but leave Middle Eastern Christians to the wolves.
