Christians have fled en masse from Mosul, Iraq's second-largest city, abandoning communities that date back to the first centuries of Christianity.
Islamic extremists who now control the city gave Christians until midday Saturday to convert to Islam, pay a tax or face death.
According to MidEast Christian News, the IS rulers ordered hospitals to dismiss Christian doctors and female employees. The report says extremists also marked the houses of Christians as "Property of the Islamic State".
By the time the deadline imposed by the Islamic State expired, most Christians were gone. Mosul, where Christianity has existed for nearly 2,000 years, was now virtually "free of Christians".
As Christian families drove out of the city some reported being stopped at IS check points and robbed of gold earrings, cell phones and other valuables.
With their few remaining possessions, most Christians headed for areas in northern Iraq where they would be under the protection of the Kurdish security forces.
Some fled to the town of Qaraqoush, where they found temporary lodging at a monastery.
Ethnic cleansing for Christians, but vast media attention for the Gaza Palestinians. The Christians attacked no one, fired missiles at no one, and have received headlines from no one.
And the “leaders” of the f***ing western countries say absolutely nothing.
All part of the Christians fleeing the Middle East.
Unfortunately the MALICEtinians have advocates in the “media” and at governmental levels. On the other hand, no one advocates for Christians who daily face the threat of slaughter in muslim regions.

It is amazing to me how many Progressive stooges parrot the line that Israel is guilty of ethnic cleansing and genocide. This, despite the fact that the Palestinian population of the West Bank and Gaza have increased 4X since 1970. However, people remain deaf, dumb, and blind to the ethnic cleansing of Christians in the Middle East.
I have a feeling the wrath of God, delivered by man, is in the works, not too many Muslims are for the ISIS group. ISIS is nothing more than a gang, lead by a mad cleric, taking over a neighborhood. The longer they wait to take action, the stronger they will become. I wonder what would Reagan have done?

We will probably see an influx of them trying to come to America as refugees from the Middle East but they will be turned away after they are asked if they are Christians or not. They will return later at another border entry point dressed like Mexicans and claim they are from Mexico and be admitted immediately no questions asked.

“Pay a tax” needs elaboration in these media reports. The Jizya tax is whatever the nearest jihadi with an AK-47 determines it to be. He can demand $100,000 in cash on the spot.
If you don’t have it, he can take your children as slaves, or your wife. Girls are especially prized as sex slaves.
That is the true meaning of “pay the Jizya tax.”

For the first time in 1700 years there are no more Christians in Mosul. And all it cost was 1 trillion American dollars and 4,500 American lives.
