In this case, think of it as an invite to have fun with the users I cited. I like Twitter because it’s a great source for exposure to all viewpoints, including many Conservatives who don’t frequent FR. FR is my main source for articles to cite on Twitter (including the cartoon in question), and Twitter has been a good source for articles that I’ve posted here.
Of course the fool took offense; you hit too close to home. So out comes the nonsensical rhetoric.
Never expect logic from a leftwinger. On a forum the other night, a stupid young twit actually told me Israel has no right to defend itself against Hamas because Hamas doesn’t wear military uniforms.
If you want to continue dialogue with your idiot, keep your cool and shred him/her with razors of logic and facts. Expose him/her for a fool.
I’ve used that one as well- I like to keep a rotation going for my rebuttals to leftards. Making heads explode can be very entertaining!
I’m also having a great time over there vis-à-vis our upcoming local elections. The main lefty candidate for mayor has called for a gun ban here, something that has been in effect for nearly a century and that is outside the city’s jurisdiction. I’m sending her supporters images of Toronto/Chicago and Toronto/Detroit comparisons every chance I get.
No dialogue, I prefer hit & run. Every time one of them takes a shot at me they expand my audience; within an hour of her outburst I gained four followers.

If you are not in broad agreement with the Left you are prima facie a Racist. The term does not really relate to one’s ideas and attitudes regarding race. It is a word of Opprobrium and it it fits anyone deserving opprobrium which is anyone who is not in lockstep with the Left. All words that imply or denote opprobrium or approval are only that. They have no other meaning for the Left and use is determined solely by the effect of the particular word. If “racist ceases to resonate properly it will be replaced by another word that has a more profound effect.

The term “racism” was invented by communists. Leon Trotsky was one of the first to use it. When whites engage in favoritism toward other whites (and therefore discrimination against non-whites), it’s called “racism”. When other groups engage in favoritism, it’s called “ethnic solidarity”. When you buy into these word games, it’s called being a useful idiot.
I don’t think she understood it. Better tweet her some more cartoons, just in case.
In high school, my sociology teacher introduced us to the term “ethnocentrism”, defined as the near-universal tendency among people to favour those who share similar traits such as race, culture, and nationality. It is neither good nor bad; it just is.
