I'm not talking about collapse, I'm talking about people realizing the disconnect between they were promised and what the actual results are. Being able to recognize the cost of the unintended consequences while the can still remember having what it is they've lost.
I guess I misunderstood. Sorry. There were those who were so unhappy with the GOP nominee that they thought it would be better for Obama to win, let the entire thing collapse, and then pick up the pieces. I argued that, by the time Obama was finished, there would be no pieces to recover. I really want to be wrong, but he has 2.5 years left to destroy the nation he grew up loathing.
I think we’re a little more resilient than that. It’s not going to be pretty, but it’s not going to be a collapse. IMHO.
