ProObama, and Hyperliberal Brit Hume...

OK, seriously, Diogenesis, if Brit Hume is a hyperliberal, where do you place Chris Matthews, Candy Crowley, Bob Shieffer, Dan Rather, Chuck Todd, Rachel Maddow, etc, etc?

Because Brit Hume is NOTHING like these others. Now, Hume may be a RINO for sure, but he is not a liberal.

And Perry isn't a conservative, either, and in fact I would say his position on most things line right up with Brit's. Perry is pro-amnesty, for example.

I think a lot of this is image and perception. The Democrats paint us as unfeeling and heartless.

Our side should easily say we want a path to citizenship and support these immigrants. The difference is Democrats would simply give everyone citizenship and we would send them home to apply for citizenship using a rational immigration program.

Both sides want to help the children. But the Democrats vision of helping is total amnesty and government supports whereas Republicans vision of helping is sending them home to be with parents and relatives, education and learning to earn for themselves what they want.

I won’t fault Perry or other Republicans until I understand the details of their positions. Immigration reform is needed but it depends on the initial success of protecting our borders and stopping illegals from taking advantage of what we have to offer. Reform means nothing if we continue to encourage open borders and abuses of our institutions.

For those RINO’s, don’t jump on me for immigration reform until you’ve resolved the border security issue. Solve that and we can discuss the way forward from there.

Sorry for the rant.

FNS

Listening to the panel discuss the invasion of children is exasperating.

Somebody do something, but don’t send them back because that is inhumane. Change the law. [They aren’t enforcing the existing laws, so what good will new laws be?]

==

The pols and pundits want the appearance of resolution without engaging in physical solutions.

==

How about this: Stop those trains, etc., on the Mexican side and make it Mexico’s problem to deal with the kids. Mexico would solve the situation in a week — because they don’t want the problem. Currently, they are just playing the conduit and probably getting well paid for it.

Well put and I could not agree with you more. I hope others on FR will take what you said to heart and learn to adjust to what needs to be done so we win more elections.

I would even go so far as to say the democrats could NOT care less about the plight of the immigrants except to see them as VOTES for democrats, and are HELL BENT on getting total amnesty as they believe it guarantees them a majority in which to wield political power for decades.

This explains their rabid hatred of Voter ID, too. It has nothing to do with discrimination; otherwise, they would rail against IDs for food stamps, benefits, housing, etc. Being able to cheat and stuff ballot boxes in close elections has always been their specialty. They will NOT give that up.

“this third world migration from Central America is truly a humanitarian crisis that just happened due to instability in the area instead of a Val/jar Axelrod/Sinaloa op which it is.”

Anyone who thinks Obama is stupid is a Moron.

The Left wing has many dedicated thugs, history keeps repeating itself.

This is the current version of National Socialist working closely with large corporations Just like Europe in the 1930s

Israel will always kick the arabs ass. They are so much smarter its not even a contest.

Thank God for that.

Apparently, just like "Africn-Americans" The sand-muzzies don't place any stock in education. They're probably genetically as just smart as anyone else.

They probably think it's just "acting Jewish".

Another FReeper suggested we offer a bounty of $1,000 for each illegal deported. For the $3.7 trillion the White House is requesting, we could deport 3.7 million.

RE: Hume

A few weeks ago, I was astonished when Hume claimed that the current comprehensive immigration law was not amnesty. He went on to say the amnesty was not a part of any of the previous comprehensive immigration bills.

==

We have had thousands of rounds of what is and is not amnesty. ‘They’ have thrown out numerous terms as an attempt to change the perception. Some call it regularization; some call it legalization.

What level of intelligence does it take to see through such smokescreens? Just because the word - amnesty - is not used does not mean that implementation of a bill results in giving illegals a ‘safe haven’.

Amnesty, not matter what you call it, is still amnesty.

==

Hume and the entire Fox/News Corp seems to have a distinct pro-Latino flavor any more. It would be interesting to know the details of Murdoch’s meeting with Valeria Jarrett a few weeks ago, as the topic was supposedly immigration.

Because those in power, both parties, want to continue this. Despite our anger and demand for action, it is exactly what they want and we’re helpless to stop it. The few primaries left and the November elections is where we fight back; in fact, short of grabbing your musket and fighting them, it is still our ONLY way.

I sure hope the “pure” do not sit home and “teach” the RINOs a lesson. A win by one TEA party candidate strengthens any and all TEA party Republicans in Congress, even though Boehner and McConnell keep their seats.

A lose by ANY Republican to a democrat is a lose for us all.

“yet probably unelectable due to too many stupid voters,Sarah Palin, remains largely ignored.”

I recall that A former Tennessee senator and TV star - Thompson - at one time thought he would make a great president.

Problem was his heart was not in it. It takes dedication and HARD Work. That is asking a lot from MOST people

Mexico and Guatemala just signed an agreement to make it easier for them to transit Mexico. It wasn't mentioned. Murdoch is pushing amnesty along with Buffet, Soros, Zuckerberg, Gates, Adelson, and other billionaires. The corporate class owns both parties.

The most frightening thing I heard this morning was from McCaul. He is pushing his bill, HR 1417, which got out of his committee last year. Co-sponsors included Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), Bennie Thompson (D-MS), and Henry Cuellar (D-TX). It is Trojan Horse for amnesty.

"The Heritage Foundation and the Federation of American Immigration Reform (FAIR) are both critical of McCaul's bill. Heritage notes it "calls for misguided border security metrics and potentially opens the door for amnesty."

"FAIR denounced the bill, saying, "It is important to note that, like the Senate amnesty bill, H.R. 1417 does not require that DHS actually obtain situational awareness or operational control of any part of the border. It only requires DHS to submit a plan for doing so."

"As part of its analysis, Heritage warned the bill could become the House's version of the upper chamber's Corker-Hoeven amendment in word and deed. The Senate immigration bill (S.744) was disparaged by conservatives for giving too much power to the DHS Secretary to waive security requirements on the border. FAIR explains how H.R. 1417 "adopts definitions from the Senate amnesty bill that have loopholes" and vague definitions inherently giving "the Secretary of Homeland Security broad discretion."

"H.R. 1417 adopts the Senate immigration bill's version of “effectiveness rate,” defining it as the number of “apprehensions and turn backs” divided by “the number of apprehensions, turn backs, and got aways," FAIR says. The House bill, also adopts the Senate bill's definitions of operational control, situational awareness, and effectiveness rate. The definition of a high traffic are, however, is particularly vague, and therefore can only be defined by the Secretary of Homeland Security, FAIR cautions:

"H.R. 1417 defines “high traffic areas” as sectors of the (land) border “that have the most illicit cross-border activity, informed through situational awareness.” This vague definition indicates that the Secretary of Homeland Security will have the discretion to define and then identify these areas. Again, this discretion may lead to political manipulation of DHS reports to Congress."

How is Perry pro Amnesty? I would say he is pretty Conservative on most issues and would be in my top 5-8 for President. He has done a good job in Texas and is taking the sealing of the border seriously.

at least you have it figured out I don’t.
The dems have successfully united some really disparate groups like gays, blacks, unions, Hispanics,and many groups that most of the time really don’t like one another much less care to unite with one another.
but, they have and worse yet they keep winning.
I guess its all about vote buying.

I’ll tell you what....MOST of America is in the interior. As an aside, didn’t I hear that Delaware was asked to take some of these? Delaware has a HUGE illegal immigration problem for our chicken industry and they all come from Ecuador and Honduras.

I predicted that Delaware would get hit with this as this is all to provide crony capitalists with cheap labor thank me very much to explain this.

Three years ago ABC’s “Home Makeover” came in and built some shyster soup woman a new house and soup kitchen and rumor is that the big area around it would be a tent city.

The place had been zoned NON-SIT-DOWN EATING (or something) and ABC knew this BEFORE they ever broke some dirt. Now a few years later the place sits fallow save for the boyhood friend of Moochelle’s brother who lives there as, again, they build a soup kitchen in an area non-zoned for sit-down and now I know what was the plan. This is only about 3 miles down the road from me. So look for me in the evening news cause this is Sussex county and WE’RE READY!

I’m told even Markell turned down the Democrats.

Already I got an invite to attend some kind of prayer meeting at this site and hey, I’m going to go. This coming Saturday so if you don’t hear from me next Sunday send out the guards!

I see why the spinm eisters don’t want pics of those kids on the trains or Obama walking amongst them. They WANT to keep all this under wraps and so McCain carried on and put on a show that he be admitted.

Well was he? If so, WHERE ARE THE PICTURES?

Americans are shocked because so many are not aware that there is NO fence on our border and our president is bussing them in.

We know fences and locks here in America and while Obama desperately wants to destroy America’s middle class, THIS will not be tolerated.

Coming up....my thoughts on Israel.

I don’t get why Perry has not put the Nat Guard there yet...I know its expensive for the states, but it would be a great move, even in small numbers.

It is terrible, that.

I do not have an answer, except to say I’ve never thought Fox New was conservative, but I do believe they were/are fairer/more fair than any of the other network newsziods.

Even as those who we saw as conservatives advocate amnesty, there are still others on the channel opposed to it. No other network news organization even allows that.

I say that not to sugar-coat it, but there it is.

We need to continue the fight with good arguments as to why amnesty would be a disaster, and concentrate on securing the border (and other ports of entry, which themselves are HUGE sieves) above all things.

“I’ll take a RINO over a Democrat any day. “

This is where you and I will NEVER agree. RINOs are a Commie’s best friend. They allow for some to hide their eyes from the devastation that is coming.

In the U.S.S.R that was from 1919 to 1990. In China that was from 1945 to today.

It could be that releasing the National Guard may be more difficult than it looks in situations like this? It isn’t a natural disaster and it may be that the Feds have to sign off.

If he has the ability he should at least support his border people.
