As long as it is controlled by the American people, it will be a force for good in the world...

...however, if Big Brother should ever take control of it...

Last report I saw - they are all in port at the moment - except Bush - which is off of Bahrain and stationed at that port...they cost too much to be deploy and it interferes with golf tours...

They forgot the Canadian Aircraft Carrier.

There’s a great picture with several GU-11’s ready for takeoff.

America is currently running a MASSIVE trade deficit with China, which is rapidly gaining as the second-largest military.

Just saying.

What good is a large military if the people in charge don’t know how to use it effectively?

We really haven’t won a war since WWII. Yes, we have won battles (Gulf War 1 and 2, etc), but we have not acted decisively in any conflict since WW2. By decisive, I mean utterly crushing the enemy in battle and imposing favorable terms for the cessation of hostilities.

Don’t let Barack see this, he’ll insist on giving the Third World their fair share of our aircraft carriers...

Thailand?

All these carriers are no good unless MANNED properly and the MEN are led properly.

Otherwise they are just hulks.
