A militia has set up a command center south of San Antonio to prepare for what they say is a mission to protect the United States from the influx of illegal immigrants.
The militia, operating via the website PatriotsInformationHotline.com, founded by Barbie Rogers, said members at the command center in Von Ormy will deploy to Laredo first and spread to other parts of the border, a local ABC affiliate reported.

CBP appreciates the efforts of concerned citizens as they act as our eyes and ears. Securing our nations borders can be dangerous. Interdicting narcotics and deterring and apprehending individuals illegally entering the U.S. requires highly trained law enforcement personnel, the statement said.
According to the Patriots Information Hotline, there are 4 credible militia operations on the ground currently in Texas.
If the CBP was actually doing a good job, there would be no need to have a discussion on this, would we???
And what constitutes a “credible” militia operation??? By whose standards, and knowledge of such activities???
I see a ton of CYA, and “How dare YOU question our authority!!!” BS in this whole debacle...
Just my opinion...
Anything that comes out of Arizona is that crazy sheriff and the nut ball Republican governor.
America has become a nation of smoke and mirrors
re: America has become a nation of smoke and mirrors
Agreed, with the smoke & mirrors covering the new American Baltic states.
they say is a mission to protect the United States from the influx of illegal immigrants.
I can imagine this will not end well after the first “intervention”. I am sure the USG will somehow find the resources to confront these folks and try to force them to stand down instead of doing their jobs.
I know we have to do SOMETHING and kudos to them for being willing to do it.
The ones who need to be in front are Jan Brewer and Rick Perry. A declaration of a state emergency and a national guard call up would be a good move.
Rick wants to run for prez so he better use this as a decisive moment.
I few billion rounds of ammo might be a significant deterrent???
But hey...That’s old news...;-)
If the gummint confronts the militia and by whatever means (and it’ll probably be the threat of violence of some kind), neutralizes the situation, would that not prove an armed presence WILL be effective in patrolling the border ?
Obama wants someone, somewhere to do something he can use as an excuse to declare martial law, or just confiscate legal weapons, or just slaughter some people like Clinton and Reno did in Waco.
This is all abput getting rid of Perry as a candidate for 2016. Obama is just doing his job.
I wonder what the cost of a private fence across the private property would be? Certainly too much for the owners themselves, but I’m thinking that 200 yards of concertina wire (depth), with a normal fence to keep out the livestock, would be a good start.
What’s a “small war” to odumbo when it comes? The end result is what counts and it seems he DOES have the upper hand right now. Perhaps there is need for more armed militias and soon, if we are to save this once great country. My bet is when the first shot is fired by EITHER side, martial law will be the order of the day.
Angcat, you pose a damn good question! I’m so pi$$ed off at the inaction and general malaise of our elected “officials” that I could scream. Check that I am screaming!
The central government is losing control.
When people start setting up their own self defense and policing forces (assuming this isn’t a false flag) because the government can’t or won’t do it, they start thinking themselves as separate of the supposed controlling authority.
If you read up on COIN tactics, one of the ways that insurgents gain control is that they start providing services that the population needs or wants but the nominal authorities are not providing. Over time that is the most effective way to usurp a state. You simply take over.
I know that people in the Fedgov have read the same political science books I have. They are aware of what is starting to happen, and that we may wake up soon to 11 different countries in the old USA. My fear is that they will send troops in to force their will.
I keep many of my thoughts to myself I have a wish list of bad things for many Politicians.
Because he is a BLACK demon.
The militia needs to send squads into Mexico to derail the trains.
The battle must be taken to the enemy.
Defense is losing the war.
Texans: doing the job that Obama WON’T do...
What should we expect; after killing 55 MILLION plus of our future citizens in the last 41 years.
NC disbanded their milita 14 years ago under the hand of the democrats. Big mistake!!!
Im seeing different scenario’s play out here, none good.
We all know ovomit hates America so part of the transforming could be giving part of it to Mexico
Perry talks big but when it comes down to it he’s pro immigration
Or perhaps our country is being filled with diseased riddled people and it’s going to have mass casualties from that.
Ask Chris Simcox(Minuteman). Back in 2006 he was going to build 70 miles of elaborate fence in AZ. He raised $600,000.00 in private donations(some from freepers), but built only a short length of barb wire fence and put the rest of the money in his pocket.
I think Rick Perry will handle Texas OK. I agree the militia needs to be on the AZ border. I don’t think Jan Brewer knows what to do.
IIUC, the trains are carrying Guatemalans and not necessarilly Mexicans, thus eliminating any American retaliation on Mexican soil ... even though the two presidents (Mex and Guat) are fomenting the invasion
Yes it would but the NEWS would be about xenophobic rednecks with gunz.
The topic is militia...... the squad will be all volunteer militia and not associated with any government.
The object is to disrupt rail traffic and thus the human pipeline. If the journey becomes too dangerous for the latrino hobos and too expensive for the railroads, the process might cease.
The objective is offensive action not passive ineffective defense
There was one derailment. perhaps ten more at intervals of 100 or 200 miles will put the fear of God in the travelers and pass a message tothe railroads
The answer is a defensible, impregnable border .. THAT way, it's all on us .. and we SAY so !
Have you ever noticed that wetbacks never seem to cross the border where the Barry Goldwater bombing range is in SW AZ? That makes the case that enough ammo on the border would secure it for a good long time.
The border is not going to be closed. That should be realized as a foolish pipe dream
Offense is better than ineffective defense
Reducing loss of life should not be a factor in the equation. There is a war, not between nations but between peoples.
Fencing costs would be minimal if the local sheriffs would deputize the border landowners, give them hot line numbers to call the deadwagons, put up shoot-on-sight warning signs, and maybe share ammo. Note that our own gummint uses “deadly force” signs to mark/protect some of the Kenyan’s hangouts.
I think deputisation is a wise idea
If it was me, all who cross illegally would be shot dead ON THE SPOT! Don’t care who it was. I’m pissed off.
a militia could be broken by federal authority
I’m just about one news report away from heading down there.
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Imagine a government enforcing the rule of law.
Sounds good on paper, but I think you forgot a few details like armed guards, secret service and oh yeah, that little iron fence. That's how he can do all this damage & still not get dragged out of our White House. He feels safe and insulated. Especially with a complicit media doing his bidding.
That is soooooo, CNN-ish...
Already infiltrated by FBI.
Yep...I cannot see them passing up on the chance and being able to get direct intel on the activities of this group...
It would be the way I would play it...If I was the opposition...
