This is great, count me as one of those that used to think that another Clinton presidency was almost an absolute certainty. But after her book tour that has been an absolute disaster I personally believe that she should probably give serious pause to participating in a 2016 campaign.

Let me recap how stacked the deck was to make Hillary succeed:

• Non-stop media blitz about how great she was and a continued media focus about her new book
• 14 million advance from Simon and Schuster because the publishing industry figured they had a blockbuster book on their hands
• Prime time interviews on all major media outlets A coached CNN audience that was stacked with sympathizers and instructed on how to cheer for Hilldawg for a prime time town hall broadcast

  And the results are:

• A book that has sold miserably, premiered at No #2 on Amazon and got beat by books such as The Green Smoothie Diet and a Frozen: Sticker Book
• A CNN town hall that flopped and debuted at No #2 in ratings
• Mistakes galore including her "dead broke" comments
• Scrutiny for her speaking tours that net her as much as $225,000 for an appearance, although she recently claimed that her speaking fees go to charity, – HER charity, another gaffe.
• New lefty kooks emerging such as a very beatable Elizabeth Warren that are winning favor with her base and will be a primary foe
• Simon and Schuster excecs being put on notice and possibly getting pink slips due to her horrible book sales

  Not saying she won't win 2016, but I smile as I think about how this coronation ceremony has self destructed and given people and the Dems pause. It should also give us hope that the Clintons haven't achieved mass popularity with the American people. Hillary is a media creation and through this book tour maybe we can learn that she isn't a great campaigner, an invincible and inevitable candidate and that it will be tough for her and possibly other Dems to win in 2016.

It’s only that high because Krinton operatives bought a bunch of the books using laundered stimulus money. They’ll never unload all those books on e-Bay and garage sales, they’ll be using them as ballast and gifts to in-laws for years.

Costco is already is already having a scandal in their book department (D’Souza’s America), I don’t think they’re ready for another one. They love libs but having thousands of books that they can’t unload is not what they want. (Flashback to the last Dixie Chicks “platinum” CD that hit the $4.99 bargain bin literally two weeks after release.)
