Nixon was also targeted because he insisted on prosecuting the Vietnam War; the same people who started it (the Kennedys, McNamara, the DC and NY media and intelligentsia) turned against it with vehemence when their idiot strategy went south and they found a handy target to blame in Nixon as being primarily responsible for the war (I’m not talking about McCarthy or McGovern, who at least were consistent). Its called projection of your own faults and failures on others and unfortunately, it worked.

Yes, not really a case of the public waking up but rather a concerted effort by a liberal media to launch their well timed and coordinated attack against a president and party they despise. Watergate was a mere drop in the bucket compared to Obama’s waterfall of scandals and malfeasance. An honest media would be vigorously pursuing these stories but evidently investigative reporting is reserved soley for use against conservatives.

I was watching Fox News, and they had a story about Obama going to Texas. VALERIE JARRETT sent a memo to Governor Perry about a meeting. What? Valerie Jarrett sent a memo about this? Is Obama incapacitated? We are governed by greedy, vengeful ten year old Democrats.

Valerie Jarrett is the defacto president.
The last I heard was that Gov. Perry was invited to join a “roundtable” with Obama and some “faith” leaders. No doubt his usual photo-op set-up. Haven’t heard what Perry’s response was—I think he wanted a one-on-one meeting with Obama but I doubt he will get that.
Why Perry? Why not Abortion Barbie?

They were and still are part of the lame stream media. They would never be as critical of Obama’s actions and policies as they were of Nixon’s.
