[Vanity:] I have an idea -- Let's take Dinesh's movie VIRAL -- A MILLION DVD MARCH!!
July 6, 2014 | Maceman

OK -- I just saw the movie "America." Needless to say, I think all conservatives should see it.

But we need to do more than preach to the choir. Because this movie not only refutes the 30-year libel and slander of our great nation by the Zinn/Alinsky left, but it also shines the spotlight on Hillary's and Obama's efforts to destroy our nation, by NAME -- all the while presenting a powerful positive message about who we are and what it really means to be an American.

So I think we need to put this important film in the face of every leftist politician, media figure and academic in America.

I don't know when this movie will be available on DVD, but I assume it will be before the November election.

So here is what I propose: A Million DVD March.

What if, when this movie comes out on DVD, every conservative America-loving patriot in the nation went out and bought as many copies as we each can afford, and collectively sent them to every Congressman, Senator, Executive Branch office holder, MSM anchor/editor/ executive and public college professor, with a demand that they watch it and answer it.

Imagine the Capitol, the White House, all the news organization offices and faculty offices inundated over the course of a few weeks with a million copies of the "America" DVD -- all sent by U.S. mail by individual Americans who are sick to death of their slander of our nation, their War on our Constitution, and their control of our government and media.

No way the media could fail to report this story. No way they could fail to publicize this film in a way that would create huge buzz, thus creating a viral curiosity factor and possibly raising the viewership by orders of magnitude.

At the end of this movie, D'Souza says we are in a battle to restore America.

I think this "Million DVD March" would be a wonderfully effective grass-roots tactic to give that effort a huge boost.

It would be logistically simple (no organizing huge marches on the National Mall requiring buses, public toilets, transportation and people taking time off work to travel). In fact, it would take no time at all for hose participating. And it would be relatively inexpensive for individual people to be involved -- the price of 1 DVD, or maybe 5 or perhaps 10.

Best of all, it would be anonymous -- just drop them in mailboxes and at post offices. We wouldn't even have to put return addresses on them -- simply put Nancy Pelosi's office address on the front and as the return address.

We could send it to the RINOs too.

Just imagine the impact of such a grass roots effort! Just imagine this all these DVDs hitting the mail in early or mid-October, just before the November election.

The more I think about it, the more I think that this would be an amazingly effective tactic. Let Harry Reid stand up and say it's an "astro-turf" effort when a million DVDs show up at the capitol, post-marked from all over the nation.

And best of all -- it would be FUN -- which is one of Saul Alinsky's key requirements for an effective political protest.

No way America's public and academic leftists could avoid having to answer the counter-arguments that D'Souza raises.

In fact, the more I think about it, the more I think it would be a colossal failure on our part to miss this opportunity.

And we have time to publicize the effort by all social media means -- a huge Postal Flashmob!!

Reponses?

I’m sending one to Feinswein

I hope Dinesh’s next one is about Benghazi, Bunkerville or focuses totally on the insect, Saul Alinsky, tutored by the Chicago Mob.

It might be a whole lot more effective to give them to our friends, relatives, neighbors, co-workers, etc.

The mainstream media would NOT recognize this, but there is no reason we still should not get this to everyone, even donate to our schools, teachers, etc.

Giving it to friends and co-workers couldn’t hurt.

But doing that would not be anywhere near as effective a huge public postal demonstration, because it wouldn’t be a viral effort.

We live in the age of viral communication, and the Million DVD March fits right in with that.

The beauty part is that the public recipients don’t even have to watch the film. But they will have to deal with the deluge or all those packages. No way that happens without being a national story.

Jeez. I can’t believe how timid dome of my fellow freepers are. Or just to cheap or lazy? It doesn’t get any easier to participate in a national public action than this.

I’m in, especially if the price point is such that extra copies can be ordered as gifts. I’ll even waste a copy on my deeply entrenched Democratic senators.

Why would the mainstream media not recognize this? How could they not?

Where do you think the recipients would put all those DVDs? Just imagine the photo possibilities?

the chicago mob doesn’t tutor outsiders.
Alinsky was in the mob, as many are currently and in the past.

And donate a copy to the local library & middle schools. Even high schools. If nothing else, it’ll give D’Souza the resources for the next movie.

“No way that happens without being a national story”

I appreciate what you want to do. I think the weak link is the counting on our media to do its job and do something that would aid our cause. Maybe I’m being too cynical. Maybe they would do their job and see that every man woman and child in the U.S. knew about it. Stanger things have happened.

Most people probably know a family with school age children. So why not have an option for gift DVDs sent direct to families?

If he would be willing to do a $10 or even $5 DVD, including S&H to domestic US addresses, conservatives could show their support by sending them as gifts to all sorts of people, including politicians, judges, unionists, known liberals, you name it.

Oh yes, and to families with school age children.

Of course this wouldn't be a bad idea. But it would be pretty ineffective in getting the public message out.

Some people would watch it, some people wouldn't, but it would not have any big public impact the way a mass Postal Flashmob aimed at public figures would.

I have a teenage daughter, and I saw the movie with her today. She said she's going to recommend that they show it at her high school. Maybe they will. Probably they won't.

I am researching that now, and also when it will be available on DVD.

We should push to do and say the right things whether the New York Times recognizes our efforts or not. The old ways of measuring success are changing. Just last month, The NYT Best Seller list refused to list certain top selling conservative books. Fine, all they do is to reduce their own credibility that much more quickly.

Just saw this today in Northern Phoenix. Theatre was full, and there was applause at the end. I enjoyed the movie. Very honest on America’s so-called “sins” and a very convincing refutation of those sins. My 12 yr old daughter came with me, and actually told me that she understood my opinions on BHO and HC much better after seeing the movie.

I reminded her that I can be sometimes outlandish is my prosecution of those two, but that it was not borne of hatred for them, as much as love for my country. I want her and her younger sister to experience freedom in the way it was intended, and not the dark place the socialists have already begun to take us. I need to do more in that battle. I vote, blog, and support the conservative candidates both financially and by word of mouth, but we’re at the point where that is simply not enough.

My first copy will go to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, then off to Cornyn’s Office and John Carter, then to the kids, then anyone else I would like to see receive an abundance of this DVD. Reid, Pelosi and so many more.

I saw this movie yesterday. It was very informing and well said. I recommend it to one and all who love this country. God Bless.
