Innovative: “Very interesting that you are criticizing Perry, not Obama... “

Mr. Jeeves: “He’s “our’ guy - we are supposed to criticize him when he falls short.”

And THAT is why Obama is president today with all its consequences — many conservatives are more interested in attacking their own, while staying silent about the Dems destroying the country. Congratulations!

You are right Kenny. It’s bluster and fake anger from Perry. Nobody is willing to put their head on the Fed’s chopping block. And to a degree, I don’t blame them.

Why are family men not off the charts pissed and seeking blood today? How much more in-your-face hate and destruction will the Fed Gov shovel over our bodies.

I talk to all kinds of men about the last 8 years. City guys, rural guys. Most are all the same. Ambivalent, uninformed, or at best angry for a minute until onto something else. One should not judge public sentiment by posts on FR. We are a very small percentage who have been exposed to the unforgiveable sins the govt and ALL media have unleashed upon us.

Let’s just be honest and call what the United States of America should now be named.

LAND. Plain and simple.

Land with no borders and inhabited by submissive taxpayers forced to pay for whatever the Federal Govt says they will pay for.

The only thing United in our States is the lack of will to tell the Feds to buzz off and handle the problems we face and way we want.

“If the thousands of children and adults flooding our Mexico-US border everyday now were Muslim children and adults, the country would be in a greater uproar and angrier than it is already now.”

Just the opposite — we would be told to stop being so discriminatory.

And what makes you think there aren’t potential terrorists mixed in with the large influx of illegals?

+1 Jarhead! There's plenty of money available in the Texas coffers: there's probably $10 Billion sitting in the Rainy Day Fund.

Perry's coming across as "words, not deeds", the Obama style of leadership.

Perfect time to act: everyone in DC is kicking back on the 4th.

So far, my Gov Goodhair is all hat and no cattle on this orchestrated (by the regime) illegal invasion.

Bread and Circuses: A phrase used by a Roman writer to deplore the declining heroism of Romans after the Roman Republic ceased to exist and the Roman Empire began: “Two things only the people anxiously desire — bread and circuses.” The government kept the Roman populace happy by distributing free food cell phones and staging huge spectacles football, world cup, etc.

My guess is the writer was a Freeper :-)

Did Governor Perry ever sue to get the 500 million back? I keep hearing all this conflicting information, the Feds own it and Perry can’t do anything or Perry uses TX money and does nothing to recover the cost of doing the Fed’s job.

Granted, I’m not a Texan but it is still my country on the whole and this invasion has to stop.

are Cartels controlling our border not enough Hell on Earth for the “public”? Have oaths been taken to promise to defend our borders/land?

Your post was spot on Innovative. Not enough people care anymore no matter what tool is used to destroy our Country. “Terrorist” or other.

I hear you Kenny. And the excuse from middle American Dad’s - “We are too busy to follow these issues because we work and raise families” has grown thin with me too.

I think men should be foaming blood from the mouth right now. But I guess that makes me an extremist.

Honestly, I don’t know if I am or not Kenny. When it will finally come down to facing off against the Govt and it’s forces, forces that may also include neighbors/friends (ala Civil War), who knows how one will react.

All I can say for sure right now is that I talk to lots of people about what is happening right before our eyes and I see complacency and/or denial and that scares the heck out of me.

“Just do something you spineless bunch of “leaders”. Same with Congress, stop the invasion then worry about the consequences. Let the media play up political consequences all they want, you’ll be helping the people. Remember them?”

Exactly! They all remind me of the management of the US steel industry, who sat back making big paychecks while their unions helped their foreign competitors to steal virtually all of their business. Then, when they were forced to close up shop, they acted like it was a big surprise what had happened!

Our motto should be: “do something, even if it’s wrong, do something” Because inaction, with the passage of time, becomes action. I would prefer to have to retrace my steps on occasion, rather than have the default decision be made without even getting in the game.

I keep hearing it, too. To my knowledge no money has been recovered from the Fed gov't.

Also, Gregg Abbott keeps making threats...he's running for gov.

IMO, Perry is talking out of both sides of his mouth. He s running for POTUS,IMO.

Obama should be impeached for this alone!

All talk and little or no action!
