(CNN) -- The national controversy over a surge of Central American immigrants illegally crossing the U.S. border established a new battleground this week in a small Southern California town, where angry crowds stopped detained migrants from entering their community. The sentiment carried over to a raucous Wednesday night meeting at a Murrieta high school auditorium. Border Patrol and immigration officials got an earful. "This is an invasion," attendee Heidi Klute said before a full house.

Local politicians appear to be in lockstep with their constituents.
"It's a nationwide problem, and little ol' Murrieta has taken the lead," said Mayor Alan Long.
Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Stone got a rise out of the crowd, asking them to hold the White House accountable.

"This is a failure to enforce federal law at the federal level," Long said in a statement Monday about the pending arrival of the 140 immigrants at the U.S. Border Patrol station. "Murrieta continues to object to the transfer of illegal immigrants to the local border patrol office." "Petition Obama to stop using these refugees to satisfy a political agenda," he said.

The U.S. government is scheduled to send another group of undocumented immigrants to Murrieta for processing on Friday, a union official for Border Patrol agents said. Hadden also said he was told to expect 140 immigrants every 72 hours, with the next group scheduled to arrive on Friday, the Fourth of July.
Earlier Wednesday, immigration rights advocates denounced the protesters.
"It is deplorable that people espousing anti-immigrant hate language created unnecessary tension and fear for immigrant mothers and their children," Pedro Rios, a community representative of the San Diego Immigrant Rights Consortium, said in a statement. "Even more concerning is that elected officials in the City of Murrieta...."

I thought we needed the border secured first (and we do), but Obama himself has to be impeached for this, and be removed from the office as he is trying to destroy us.

Also agree that Zero’s goal is to provoke violent reaction from US citizens, ultimately to declare martial law. When Clinton pushed too far and saw a political backlash, he backed off. Zero just pushes forward. Find another stick, poke it in their eye. Again and again until someone does something - at a minimum try to use some reaction to accuse racism or otherwise blame his results on the other side and try to play the victim.
We have very dark days ahead. Hopefully people can maintain a civil dialogue, Zero’s numbers are falling even among his most ardent supporters. Hopefully this falls elections won’t be too late and the Democrats lose control of the Senate, and hopefully then the Republicans will grow a spine.
So the media never wants to call them illegals anymore, even though they are illegal , and should be arrested and sent back.
This is crap that we have to house, feed, transport ,and educate them .

Yes it is an invasion. The State Governors should declare a State of Invasion and activate their State Guard units, the State Militias, and all local law enforcement to repel the invasion. They should arrest anyone, including Federal officials, that give Aid and Comfort to the Enemy, try them for Treason, and, if found guilty, sentence them to Death.
Great idea. This only stands a chance with conservative governors with conservative constitutional scholars by their sides. But please, someone, make this happen. Someone keynote this and start the fight!! (Sorry, I’m in CA and I won’t waste my finger muscles writing to my governor.)
Even the school shooters help Cloward Piven. The distraught parents scream at the government to get rid of guns. Those video clips need to be countered with reasoned “Those who seek security over freedom will get neither” careful explanations. A free nation will always have crazies choosing to do bad, and it always has. There will always be bad things that happen to good people.

Even here Ive run into resistance calling illegal immigration invasion and occupation.
Some folks refuse to see this for what it is, a loss of portions of our nation.
For all intents and purposes, Mexico now occupies regions of our nation.
I have been laughed at, dismissed, called names, and had insults hurled at me and my home state.
Well folks, who’s laughing now? Now that other states are having the same thing happen to them, it’s not quite as funny anymore. All of a sudden folks are starting to realize what happened to California wasn’t it’s fault.
The federal government IS AT WAR with the states.

That would require a military coup. That comes with it's own problems afterwards. Not to mention the fact that Obama (and Clinton) went out of their way to politicize the military and to change out top leadership, perhaps to forestall that.
At Murrieta yesterday, burned and torn flags were impaled on the fences behind the pro-”immigration” protestors who carried not American but Mexican and Azteca flags. Some chanted what were supposed to be Aztec chants I suppose, and a few showed up in feathered garb beating war drums - not your typical ‘integrated’ American seeking to assist other potential Americans to melt seamlessly into American culture and values.
Even though the pro-invader crowd was peppered with (white) Americans supporting their cause, the pro-invaders shouted go home to europe, get out, we’re staying, racists, whores, and a lot of acting out behavior, hitting out at people, jumping on a cop’s back, etc.
I wonder if those supporters on the pro line had second thoughts after witnessing such hair-trigger behavior, like maybe a fleeting thought that they were next to be displaced after the first resisters were displaced?
I would suggest that anyone stupid enough to show up out there was either tied at the hip to unions or other leftist organizations. You also get some folks who look suspiciously like folks on welfare or university types, doing it to curry favor or for class credit and the like.
