(CNN) -- The national controversy over a surge of Central American immigrants illegally crossing the U.S. border established a new battleground this week in a small Southern California town, where angry crowds stopped detained migrants from entering their community. The sentiment carried over to a raucous Wednesday night meeting at a Murrieta high school auditorium. Border Patrol and immigration officials got an earful. "This is an invasion," attendee Heidi Klute said before a full house.

Local politicians appear to be in lockstep with their constituents.
"It's a nationwide problem, and little ol' Murrieta has taken the lead," said Mayor Alan Long.
Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Stone got a rise out of the crowd, asking them to hold the White House accountable.

"This is a failure to enforce federal law at the federal level," Long said in a statement Monday about the pending arrival of the 140 immigrants at the U.S. Border Patrol station. "Murrieta continues to object to the transfer of illegal immigrants to the local border patrol office." "Petition Obama to stop using these refugees to satisfy a political agenda," he said.

The U.S. government is scheduled to send another group of undocumented immigrants to Murrieta for processing on Friday, a union official for Border Patrol agents said. Hadden also said he was told to expect 140 immigrants every 72 hours, with the next group scheduled to arrive on Friday, the Fourth of July.
Earlier Wednesday, immigration rights advocates denounced the protesters.
"It is deplorable that people espousing anti-immigrant hate language created unnecessary tension and fear for immigrant mothers and their children," Pedro Rios, a community representative of the San Diego Immigrant Rights Consortium, said in a statement. "Even more concerning is that elected officials in the City of Murrieta...."

No, there’s a grandstanding politician whose is campaigning for higher office who is saying the right things, but before endorsing them check out their backgrounds. Lots and lots of ugliness in their backgrounds there too.

And put them where exactly? Are all the occupancy permits in order? Have the facilities been inspected by local Health department officials? How about the zoning issues? Have those all been dealt with?
Get the local county Sheriff on board and arrest the people driving the busses for felony child endangerment.
If necessary post armed deputies along the route and stop them at the county line.

Yes it is an invasion. The State Governors should declare a State of Invasion and activate their State Guard units, the State Militias, and all local law enforcement to repel the invasion. They should arrest anyone, including Federal officials, that give Aid and Comfort to the Enemy, try them for Treason, and, if found guilty, sentence them to Death.
Why should we care about their backgrounds? We aren't nominating them for public office or for sainthood. To demand that the border be secured is nonpartisan and not dependent on background.

Note that the illegal immigration allies, aka invaders, already have people in place to protest for MORE invasion. In a sane world, the non-American, pro-invader forces that are already in place and protesting would be quickly deported along with the new arrivals. We do not live in a sane world.
I’m really starting to wonder if the administration is trying to start a revolution...seriously. That would serve their purposes nicely. Yet, if we don’t have some sort of peaceful revolution/protest to stop this invasion, we’re done for anyway.
We really need far more people to come out and stop the importation of anti-American invaders. Civil disobedience is totally justified in cases where the government itself is the transgressor. It seems the Obama administration is plotting against Americans. What other recourse is left when the voting booth no longer works?
BTW, I am NOT calling for violence!!! I’m saying peaceful civil disobedience. The left LOVES protest. They use it all the time. Maybe we need to give them back some of their own medicine.

Texas is planning to sue! What a joke. What you wrote is what needs to happen (short of the death penalty). Texas needs to patrol its own borders if the federal government won’t. Arrest federal officials that aid or abet the invasion. Certainly everyone breaks the law since there are so many laws nowadays. Get them for broken taillights or whatever, and through them (federal officials) in jail.

Regardless, there has to be something the local officials can charge federal officials with. The feds are doing exactly that to anyone who dares oppose them. State officials are NOT powerless, and they certainly outnumber the feds.
