I just caught the tale end of Rush's program and he mentioned the pastor who alleges the Cochran campaign paid blacks to vote in the MS runoff. Said he will have audio on tomorrow's show.

Ugh, that Jamie Dupree guy is on Sean’s radio program and he said he read about this in the Clarion and poo poos on McDaniel. I don’t like this guy at all.
These gloomers would have hated Reagan. He was unfailingly optimistic. That was a great part of ability to lead.
We need to keep a tally of those who actively or tacitly approve the shenanigans.
Have Gowdy or Gohmert or Cruz or anybody else stood up and denounced this behavior?

Obviously, like those who call Rush simply an entertainer, you never visit Drudge.
Statement I saw from Cruz I took as “damning with faint praise.” But, that’s just me.
McCain (spit) otoh, could not contain his excitement over thinking that the TP had been beaten back.
I didn’t say anything about confidence, only that Rush isn’t going to jump on anything on air until he vets the information and its sources. These details are still very fresh and still developing.
Why the slam?
Because, from your assertion it’s easy to determine that you haven’t visited Drudge, yet you complain.

Hope requires faith, not logic.
Drudge Report is not and should not be a primary source of news for FReepers. It is a third-tier information source that is almost entirely based on links to first and second-tier sites for his “news”. Drudge is often missing in action on many stories that are genuinely newsworthy. But World Cup soccer...that’s a continuing major news story.
Breitbart, a second-tier source, does as well or better this year as the Drudge gang.
You have no idea how often I spot-check the Drudge Report...how many page views he gets from me each day.
Enjoy your Drudge “news” source. I prefer others.
I’m not a huge Drudge Report fan either. I post news on my facebook page - just like he does - news from many sources - and yet, he is often touted as the only legitimate source - huh? His sources are available to everyone as well. As much as I like Mark Levin - he is one who thinks the Drudge Report is gospel.
Fox gets five minutes a day and the BBC World News ten minutes a day..
I listen to radio more Beck than Rush, but both.

RUSH: “A black Mississippi pastor has emerged to claim Sen. Thad Cochran’s (R-MS) campaign paid ‘thousands’ of Democrats $15 each to vote in the June 24 GOP runoff — and that he was part of the scheme. Rev. Stevie Fielder, an associate pastor at First Union Missionary Baptist Church in Meridian, Mississippi, says Cochran’s campaign ‘told me to offer blacks $15 each and to vote for Thad.’” The Cochran campaign paid for those black votes. Why didn’t the Republicans think of that sooner? If they want the black vote, apparently that’s how you do it! We got audio sound bite on that, and we’ll hold those over for tomorrow.
I don’t really understand what happened there.

You’ve made the mistake most people do, thinking of Drudge as a news source. It isn’t.
Drudge is simply a news aggregator.
