11:30 a.m.: Police have charged an illegal immigrant from Mexico with homicide by vehicle and other charges in connection with a fatal crash Saturday in West Manheim Township, according to a news release.
Steven Miller, 64, of Westminster, Maryland, was killed in the crash, according to the York County Coroner's Office.
Police said Carlos Bastida-Martinez, 25, was traveling south on Baltimore Pike when he crossed over the center lines and struck a motorcycle operated by Miller.
Miller had fatal injuries at the scene, the release states, Bastida-Martinez suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Hanover Hospital. The 1995 Ford Windstar Bastida-Martinez was driving was engulfed in flames.
Bastida-Martinez was also charged with accidents involving death while not properly licensed, driving while operating privileges were suspended, driving without a license, reckless driving, careless driving causing death and failure to keep right.
He was taken to Central Booking and was denied bail, the release states.

Lucky for us, the County prison is 2/3 a regional ICE detention center. Hopefully he’ll be “housed” on the ICE dime, not the local taxpayers’.

One other small point to remember:
The innocent man who was brutally killed, his family is SOL, due to the fact illegals don’t buy insurance, have no insurance and could care less about things like that.
Joe citizen who kills someone, and is at fault, while driving drunk or not, his insurance carrier will pay the victims family BIG $$.
Way more than one tax payer victim here with the breadwinner dead, kids SOL etc..
