On his Tuesday broadcast, Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" host Jon Stewart took aim at what appears to be a back-and-forth between former Hillary Clinton and Vice President Joe Biden, two of the prospective candidates for the 2016 Democratic nomination for president, over what he deemed to be a "poor-off" in which the two publicly espoused their humble origins.

Slick Willie’s wife and Rimshot Joe need to show us their cardboard sleeping boxes and shopping baskets or just shut up. I want to see the proof that they’re both as impoverished as they say they are.

I dont’ find him amusing because he is not truthful.

It might have been funny if he had stated that there was nothing wrong with running for pres as a wealthy person IF ONE IS A DEMOCRAT.

I can watch Greg Gutfeld, as much as I sometimes disagree with a point he makes, and his show can be very gross.

But he is sincere and unafraid of honesty. And that’s the only place humor can come from.

Okay, now you’re being far too literal.

Yes, Poor Joe!

I guess Harry Reid never taught him how to make millions off those stingy government checks.

...never took stock-market advise from Hillary.

Reminds me of the old Python skit where a group of fusty old rich men sit around telling one another how hard they hard it as a kid.

“Why, when I was a lad, I came home from the mines at 6 a.m. and had to be back at work two hours earlier.”
