As I would prefer to avoid a "visit" from the FBI, NSA, etc. sooner than might be necessary, I would ask you to read between the lines for the "bottom line" in what follows. Hint: The security dysfunction at the highest levels of the US government relative to events in the Middle East and our southern border almost certainly means similar "trouble" here on a scale not seen since the 1860s.

Let me punctuate her words by pointing out THE common thread in every example she cited:
In EVERY case, the VIOLENT MINORITY either had more and better WEAPONS than the PEACEFUL MAJORITY-- or ALL OF THE WEAPONS -- with which to quell any resistance. Equally important, they had THE WILL TO USE THEM!
We are now faced with a foe who not only has the WILL to eliminate all resistance, BUT A MANDATE FROM THEIR “god” TO DO SO! The level of their fanaticism is measured by their willingness to DIE in their perverse “cause”.
In counterpoint, nearly all of you reading this are largely peaceful, law-abiding human beings who wish only to be left alone to live our lives amid our family and friends. An accurate reflection of that mentality is that many of us have and love our pets. We have 6 dogs and one very swift cat – all rescues – and wish we had the resources and energy to rescue more.
That said, we also love the freedoms and other blessings God has bestowed upon this fragile, perishable 2 ½ century long experiment called America.
I know some of you are tired of hearing me beat this particular drum so I'll wrap this up so you can visit that link.
But consider this: If you're annoyed at being periodically reminded of this “problem”, try to imagine how “annoyed” you would be living under the shari'a law now making serious inroads here.
I would also remind you that “peace” has several definitions: The absence of war or conflict and the ABSENCE OF RESISTANCE TO AN IDEOLOGY ONE WOULD OTHERWISE REFUSE TO EMBRACE.

In some situations, peace can only be found on the other side of war. This is one of those situations.

I've been doing that for years, as a sign of disdain and disrespect to the whole sick bandit* and military culture masquerading as religion.
I never noticed anyone else doing the same.

*I wish more people would read the koran and hadith concerning how properly to divide the spoils of plunder and war.
I just watched this now. Her point: “the peaceful majority is irrelevant” is an extraordinarily powerful point. And i’d never thought of it or heard it said before. It’s a fantastic answer. And of course, it’s so powerful because it’s true. it’s a point that should be repeated many many many times.
