I agree. If Rand Paul gets this bill passed, some liberal judge will strike down the "non-violent" rule for convicted felons and say its unfair and violates equal protection rules because both the violent and non-violent offender have "done their time and paid their debt to society" and have had their full rights restored, so its "fundamentally unfair" to say one of them can vote and one can't.

Good news for Fabian Nunez after AHNULD pardoned his murderous thug son.

Plus, as I noted earlier, Rand did NOT include an exception to ban felons convicted of VOTE FRAUD from voting. Al Franken is probably jealous he didn't introduce the bill.
