Agreed. Too many people, especially conservatives, cry out that Obama is simply incompetent and doesn't know what he's doing.

Oh, he knows EXACTLY what he's doing.

They’re GDP is nearly as large as ours and they get more oil from Iraq than we’ll ever see.

Would that it were so easy.

The regulatory agency has conducted it’s lengthy, comprehensive, and very expensive review of environmental and socioeconomic effects. They gave conditional approval — subject to 209 conditions.

The Prime Minister and Cabinet approved, subject to the regulatory agency’s conditions, and a few more.

The usual suspects continue to oppose it — vehemently.

The odds favour it getting built — but, it’s far from a certainty.
