I hope Obama and/or Kerry don’t try to take credit for this. They played no role.
True, but I don't care if the jackwads do because the lives of a good Christian woman and her children are worth it.
So I offer up a good ol' Lutheran prayer (slightly paraphrased):
"I thank you my heavenly Father, that you have kept Miriam from terrible harm and danger, and ask that you send Your holy angels to watch over her so that the evil foe may have NO POWER over her-- or her precious lambs.
In the name of Your dear Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ, whom your dear daughter would not deny!"

And most importantly, praise her for having the strength of her convictions. It is an object lesson that needs to be shared in our Congress. If she were a Republican, my bet is that she would have renounced her faith to “save” herself based on what I see daily in the Congress.
