David Perdue, running for the Senate in Georgia, wants to be one of those guys who reaches across the aisle to get things done. He wants to transcend partisan the way all the CEOs who get into politics claim they want to do.
David Perdue also likes Bob Corker. In fact, several times Perdue has mentioned has admiration of Bob Corker. Corker is one of the guys Perdue thinks is a model Senator. Corker reaches across the aisle and gets things done.
Putting his money where his mouth is, Perdue has donated to Corker several times maxing out.

We already have enough of those types of senators in Georgia. Perdue needs to just stay on his island and invite his buddy corker to dinner and leave Georgia out of it.
The only reason to go across the isle is that you are incapable of spitting that far, or you want to punch them in the nose.

Good gosh! Corker is bad enough. He and Lamar Alexander don’t need a kindred spirit in Georgia aiding and abetting them in Washington. Corker’s latest joint project with the Dems is to propose a 12 cent per gallon Federal tax increase on gasoline. Way to go, Corker, you S.O.B.
Bob Corker is now pushing for a $.12 gas tax increase. He must think he’s safe and it will be forgotten before his election.
