BREAKING: Texas-Led Border Security Surge 'Imminent'
Breitbart's Texas ^ | June 18, 2014 | Bob Price

Posted on 06/18/2014 5:59:50 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

HOUSTON, Texas—State Representative Debbie Riddle (R-Tomball) told Breitbart Texas she spoke with Governor Rick Perry’s (R-TX) Office and they confirmed the surge to deal with the Texas border crisis is about to begin. Details are not available at this time, but Riddle said, “It is going to happen.”

Riddle spoke with Governor Perry’s office about the issue and was assured it “is going to be coming soon.” She said Governor Perry’s office is working very closely with Lt. Governor David Dewhurst’s office along with the office of House Speaker Joe Straus.

“They are gathering together everything they need to begin this right away,” Riddle said. She told Breitbart Texas that she could not divulge any information about exactly when, how long, and where the surge would be for reasons of operational security. She also could not disclose what the operational objectives would be at this time.

Riddle said, “We are going to feel this particularly here in the Houston area because of Houston’s role as a command and control center for the cartels--for both their drug and human trafficking operations.” She added that Texas Department of Public Safety Director (DPS) Steve McCraw told her last week that Houston is still the hub for these operations.

Riddle said, “Governor Perry is very angry that the feds are doing nothing about this problem.” She went on to say, “I didn’t expect the feds to do anything."(continued)

If he does it, then he probably will instantly get the Republican nomination and likely be the next president. 70% of Americans have had enough. That include Democrats that are losing jobs to the illegals.

The rich hollywood creeps will be mad because their cheap illegal yard and house labor won’t be available. Same goes for the Chamber of Chronism.

Yeah, there is that. He was awful the first run, but it did take Reagan two goes at it.... however, Reagan was a polished speaker.

Perry should take a gig as radio talk host to polish his communication skills in pressure situations.

Herman Cain improved dramatically by doing it.

B S He would wash that bad reputation away over night, if he starts deporting illegals using Texas resources and tells the feds to pound sand. There are a lot of Americans that want states to stand up to the growing tyranny.

I’ve got an idea: He should offer a job to every federal law enforcement type to quit(defect) and guarantee all their benefits they accrued. They can work for him. They just might someday anyway. Better to get on his good side now.

Just curious, how many people on this thread dissing Gov. Perry, decided to sit the last presidential election out and didn’t vote?
