Is there any good reason why the US Army can't be sent to the border to stop this ongoing invasion of our country and states?

Too busy with transgender diversity training and studying ways to combat the impact of bitter clinger domestic unrest.

Because 75% of these kids are NOT Mexicans, they’re Central Americans. Mexico doesn’t get a dime of it.<>?i>

My comment was directed at the general proposition that Mexico wants to secure its borders. It does not because it profits from immigration to the US, legal and illegal.

And there is no way thousands of children can cross Mexico's fairly secure Southern border with Central America and travel more than a thousand miles to the US border without the cooperation and knowledge of the Mexican government. This "Mariel boatlift" operation is being orchestrated by the Mexican and US governments. Obama wants an amnesty. This is just more pressure on Congress to do what he wants. Obama is just adding to his Dreamer population, which he has already provided a backdoor amnesty (DACA).

FYI: Remittances to Mexico exceed oil revenue from the US.

Put a tax on remittances to Latin America. To pay for housing orphan children.

Cornyn is not a republican if this statement is true. He, and all republicans, should be yelling at highest volume to secure our borders.

Build a canal from the Atlantic to the Pacific along our southern border.

There’s a shovel ready jobs program.

Mexico wants to dump its dark skinned people on the US. It’s the same country that published a comic book showing people how to cross the border illegally. Give them the money to build a gate, and they will leave the gate open.

The idea to fund Mexico is completely wrong. We should force Mexico to pay the cost of their illegals in our country welfare, medical care, etc. And all cost for our border efforcement efforts and costs of border security upgrades. That will get the Mexican government to stop the border nonsense and require their ex-pats to be repatriated.

U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, a Republican “lobbyist for the government of mexico” is more like it. As long as politicians like this chump keep getting elected into office, expect more of the same. The border needs to locked down, the BP needs to be allowed to do their jobs, and all of the politicians, from obama right on down the line need to stop pandering to mexico, and do their damn job. And that job is ENFORCING the existing immigration laws, and SECURING the border!

As unlikely as that will ever occur, the next best thing would be for the governors of the border states to do the job, and cut out the feds altogether, seeing as how the feds are as thoroughly corrupt as their mexican
counterparts. That scenario is just as unlikely, due most of the state governments being just as corrupt as the feds, like this jackass cornyn apparently is.

“I can’t believe Texas is going to put this a$$hat back in the senate. Fund border security!”

Get used to it. I moved from Oregon to Texas four years ago after graduating U of O. I am very familiar with liberal “think.”

Texas will be true blue by 2016. Texans are extremely arrogant to the notion Texas can possibly turn blue. Liberals have taken note of this arrogant belief system and are making their move to make it so. I have yet to meet a Texan who is open to the idea Texas is at risk. Its so sad. So terribly sad. (I keep seeing oodles of license plates from liberal states flooding into Texas and I have yet to come across a single Texan who has even noticed)

Mexico doesn’t want to secure the border you idiot (Coryn)!

Mexico should be receiving international sanctions for creating a refugee situation on its border.

Dear Senator Cornyn,
Here’s 3 arguments for your position

US Aid to an OPEC country is so necessary

US aid sent to Mexico will surely be monitored for fraud waste and abuse and not siphoned off into corruption and cartels

The cartels have a price - so maybe we can use taxpayer money to meet or beat it to get their coyotes to take those peasants south instead of north

as if

“Mexico gets 22M (+ all of the Western Union $$ sent back from illegals). What do you mean by “Mexico doesn’t get a dime of it”?

Please read my comment again. There are multiple countries south of the border, but only one that borders the United States.

Exactly right.

Mexico is rich in natural resources, beautiful beaches, mountains, culture etc. There no reason so many of its citizens are so poor except corruption and mismanagement by the Mexican government.

Mexico could be a very rich country that Americans would be trying to get into ... it they used their natural resources wisely.
