He was quite popular on FR a decade ago.
In before the Colorado “Tom Stole Our Last Election!” gang arrives.
Beauprez and Tancredo poll about the same against Hickenlooper.
But Tancredo’s the real thing.
Don’t forget Dave Cox in the 3rd Congressional District, running against Scott Tipton. Cox would also be very detrimental to the GOPe
Tom Tancedo is the real meal deal. I contributed to his 2008 presidential campaign. Go Tom go!
People in CO are too stuck on “democracy” to expect much of anything from them.
Go Tom!!
After quick look at Gessler’s record, it looks pretty good. Some qualifications spotted during a quick search:
1. He was never a draft dodger. He did serve in the Army, including the 12th Special Forces Group.
2. He was not a public school teacher, although he did teach in universities while building a private firm.
3. He worked as Secretary of State with an emphasis in preventing election fraud.

Republicans Greg Brophy and Scott Gessler: If I were governor I would

“’I will propose a broad economic package that will reduce regulations and some of the unfair taxes we have here in the state of Colorado to get this economy going,’ Gessler said.”
I’m in for Tom too.
My ballot is ready to mail.
Scott Gessler grilled at Capitol about immigrant letters, website glitches

“Mainly, the critical legislators wanted to know why Gessler had been so focused on finding illegally registered immigrants and if any voters were disenfranchised due to technical problems at his office.”
The last poll I saw showed Tancredo doing much better than Beauprez. I voted for Tancredo, but I'd be fairly happy with anyone other than Beauprez. Sick of that guy remaining silent when Colorado is being destroyed by liberals then showing up every four years to run for governor. He's also way too milquetoast. He would never really do battle with Hickenlooper.
I supported him in 2010. I like him. Good man. I’m on board again.
Being on east coast I haven’t heard about him except on FR.
Scott Gessler is a better choice than either of them. I have trouble seeing either of them winning, Gessler is already a statewide winner.
“Panicked liberals and crony Republican elitists agree: Tom Tancredo would be bad for their Big Government and Big Business rackets.”
Two of the loudest Republican elitists bashing Tancredo being Michael Medved and Hugh Hewitt.
Tancredo is being hammered in political ads about being for legalizing heroine and cocaine. They have been pretty viscious.
The GOP-e in CO is disgusting - we need Beauprez to unite us, the state is fond of him, etc.
I like the idea of Gessler. He has really been strong on protecting our election process.
Governor apologizes to Colorado's sheriffs
Hickenlooper also said his administration didn't do a good job anticipating pushback on gun control.
And from the Montezuma County Sheriff:
he Governor admitted his Office did not research the gun legislation until after it was passed.
This is becoming way too typical of Democrats, gee, we just didn't know. We didn't know that Al Qaeda was ramping up in Iraq, we learned about it in the media. We didn't know that terrorists were attacking us in Benghazi, we learned about losing our ambassador in the media. Gee, we didn't know that these draconian gun laws would cause such a problem, we learned about it in the media after we passed the laws. BS, BS, BS. The local media was wall-to-wall coverage on these laws and the outcry.
