Department of Homeland Security chief Jeh Johnson suggested Thursday he would not block the growing wave of illegal immigrants who are crossing the Texas border until the GOP agrees to pass the Senate immigration rewrite that is backed by President Obama.

He twice refused to set any limit on the number of foreign youths who would be given the opportunity to ask the administration’s immigration judges for permission to live in the United States.

Johnson and several deputies delivered the threat to GOP legislators during a brief June 12 press conference.

The threat was offset by statements........

So he thinks he can bully Congress with threats now............the abuse of power just keeps getting worse by the day with anyone connected with this administration. It's like they think they have a green light to do as they want to get their way (in my opinion)...this is going to be a long 3 years, if we make it!

Sounds like blackmail. Of the sort union thugs and other democrats use.

Existing laws prohibit illegals from crossing into this country. If this guy refuses to enforce existing laws, he needs to be tried as a traitor.

Well, what do we need a border patrol, or a Department of Homeland Security for then?

Defund and disband them both. Let the border states take care of their borders.

Return the funds budgeted to these agencies to the border states, to be used for their own defense.

There’s something I could say, but I’d end up in jail.

The only way to stop this lawlessness will be for a Republican House and a Republican Senate to pass the next budget in tiny little pieces that fund specific operations of the government. The resolutions should stipulate how monies are to be distributed and should require Congressional approval for any administration alterations.

A slapdown of the Courts should commence by restricting their jurisdiction and several public impeachments.

Impeach him my asterisk! Try him for treason, when the oath was taken to:

support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

Where was the part about if and when I feel like it?

The Executive blackmails the Legislative with non-enforcement of the law.

I musta missed that in Con Law.

Didn't these Obama-Holes take the required oath of office to bear true faith and allegiance to the US Constitution?

“I, (name), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against
all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely,
without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office
on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

“Department of Homeland Security”

Of the many things GWB did to disappoint me, this bloated, inefficient, worthless bureaucracy may be the worst.

One more department that simply needs to be eliminated as wasteful and useless.

I'm sorry FRiend, but you have no clue what time it is.

A LAWLESS dictatorship IS NOT GOING TO FOLLOW ANY LAW A GOP CONGRESS PASSES.

Period.

Not-to-mention the GOP leadership and the Chamber of Commerce Cronies SUPPORTS THIS invited invasion.

I dont think so! Build fence, shut down the border & then we’ll talk..not the other way around. Arrogant POS! I knew this border flood was a stunt to pressure congress. The RINOs better not cave.
