Kenneth S. Trump, president of National School Safety and Security Services in Cleveland, gave us his definition, which closely follows Everytown's:
While attending, or on the way to or from, a school-sponsored event.
So, if someone was on their way to, or from, a H.S. sporting event, and happened to stop at a convenience store, where they were shot during a robbery... it's a "school shooting"!?
This after making the following statement: "I'm the only one in this room professional enough, that I know of, to carry this Glock 40."
Here's the video.
Lies for the LIVs.
Yes. That is the nature of their sick, twisted logic.
They control the media, therefore they control the message.
“We decided to look at the question from another angle: In how many of the cases did students or faculty face imminent danger from an armed assailant on or near school grounds? By that measure, 35 roughly match the situation at Reynolds High School, where a shooter was on campus during school hours. “
The article says “armed” but they mean just firearms, not knives, clubs, chains, or anything else.
Look at the linked report below, guns are not that big a problem in schools.

Pretty much every shooting in NYC is near a school, and is therefore a "school shooting".
I wonder if they counted the one at Arsenal Tech HS in Indy just last week?
(Gannett run rag so linky only)
Didn’t make it to the national media, probably because nobody died and the shooter was black.
The shooter was trying to take out his GF who he had already assaulted and threatened to kill before.
Happened outside the gate in a parking lot across from school.
That's why they use Newtown as a reference point, they didn't start this "cooking the books" horsecrap until after Newtown, which I'm very nearly convinced was a hoax, like the "video tape caused Benghazi".
The incident I described in my post (#2, above) actually took place in a community center in Orlando, FL. I stated incorrectly that it happened in Philadelphia. My bad.
How many have we had since Obama and his anti-gun supporters took office? Obama has already shown that he will do whatever he wants to in order to get whatever he wants when he wants it, regardless of the law and regardless of our rights.
How many times has somebody defended their life with a gun this year?
The number of times guns were used for personal self protection in the US last year?
2 MILLION.
Heard Tom Brokejaw on his 2 minute daily radio diatribe this morning claiming the “74 school shootings since Newtown” BS this morning. I guess he got the Bloomturd memo.
