When Great Britain confiscated the PEOPLE’s private guns, many were “demilitarized”, that is cut up so it could never be shot but you could not tell by looking at them. Pump shotgun magazines were crimped so it would hold no more than 2 shells.
Gunsmiths, who handcrafted some of the finest guns made were FORCED to cut their products up. Some of them cried as they felt their job was to make the best guns possible, not cut them up.
But then, the guns were registered, so the government knew who had what.
