Wormer, he’s a dead man! Marmalard, dead! Niedermeyer ...... dead! Cantor .... dead!

Sorry, Animal House reference. Friend of mine’s first response to the news. I thought it was hilarious.

The GOP-E Leadership in the US House, (Boehner, Cantor, and Ryan), is always gullible to Obama’s tricks.

Consequently, Boehner, Cantor and Ryan, have all pledged to ram through this unpopular Obama Amnesty Bill due to Obama’s illegal decision to flood the USA with children from Mexico and Central America.

It is time to kick the GOP-E out of Congressional Leadership!

I think the voters resented his lies. They knew what he did, compared it to what he was saying and voted: “You’d make a better lobbyist.”

Maybe no so overt...

Speculative MSM headline: Tea Party candidate kills Cantor's reelection bid.

In effect, the 2013 revelations about the IRS targeting conservative political groups actually caused a revival of interest in the Tea Party movement. As such, Republican candidates sympathetic to the Tea Party movement are getting a lot of "political traction."

Don’t know about any public polls in this race but I’m sure they may well have been some
that were published. However the following Bloomberg article gives some interesting
numbers about Cantor’s CD 7th loss.

http://go.bloomberg.com/political-capital/2014-06-11/eric-cantors-historic-loss-numbers/

Another synopsis of the McLaughlin poll which had Cantor up by 34 points can be found at the following article in National Journal.

http://www.nationaljournal.com/politics/eric-cantor-s-pollster-tries-to-explain-why-his-survey-showed-cantor-up-34-points-20140611

One interesting observation about this election as opposed to the previous one two
years ago is that there was an increase of almost 50% in the voter turnout for
this race. The voters were motivated to get out and vote.

Here is a poll done by Public Policy Polling Tuesday night after the election
referencing the race.
