Inside the municipal garage of this small lakefront city, parked next to the hefty orange snowplow, sits an even larger truck, this one painted in desert khaki. Weighing 30 tons and built to withstand land mines, the armored combat vehicle is one of hundreds showing up across the country, in police departments big and small.
The 9-foot-tall armored truck was intended for an overseas battlefield. But as President Obama ushers in the end of what he called Americas long season of war, the former tools of combat M-16 rifles, grenade launchers, silencers and more are ending up in local police departments, often with little public notice.

Small towns in Indiana getting MRAPS..for drug interdiction..riiiggghhhttt
All preparatory for nationalization by the central govenment. Welcome to your “civilian” security force.
That is because the next phase of the MarxoFascist ‘revolution’ is about to kick into gear.
And the targets are those of us whom this cabal has determined cannot be ‘re-educated’.
The evidence of what is about to happen to us is everywhere. But Americans, like the jews in 1938 Europe have a fatal case of Normalcy Bias and refuse to understand what is being prepared against them.
They gotta get out of the things sometime...
I completely agree with your comment.
What really brought it to my attention some years back, is when they opened up the military equipment to the police departments. Helicopters, armored personnel carriers..., you name it.
Ubama is just staging all this equipment with police departments so it will be there when his civilian gestapo get the “go” signal.
Eventually to be used to strengthen our borders. Not.
I think civilians should be able to buy those too. :p
Mostly to combat the WOD. End it and eliminate the reason to militarize and destroy your rights.
This administration is getting ready for the coming Social War. The local police will be beholding to “The Divine One” and his fellow crooks and will function to suppress local revolutionary outbreaks.
I think this confirms my suspicion that the illegal children are being let in to become the Animal Farm dogs to “cleanse” America of patriots or anyone else who disagrees with Socialist dictatorship
Here is the killer question to ask police, city councils, etc.
‘How and why did your police/sheriff’s department allow their jurisdiction to become such a war zone that they need implements of war to patrol it?’
Type "police department gets MRAP" into Google, then 'images', and.. IT'S FRIGHTENING!!!!
How To Disable MRAP Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected Light Armored Vehicles I think TIPPING THE MRAP OVER is the best bet. LOL
Reminds me, I need to stock up on ammonia.....
And what happens when all of the local municipalities get these shiney new, big boy toys?
Well, they look for the smallest damn excuse to take them out to play!
Coming to an unwarrented home invasion near you!
(your neighbor didn’t like you throwing his dog’s poop back into his yard.....)
I see no reason for police departments to have armored combat vehicles. The excuses the mayor gave were lame because the cities can get non-armored military surplus vehicles just as easily as the MRAPs.
I believe you’re right, but I’ve been saying this for years.
The will give weak excuses that the vehicles could be used on snow plow duty and for fighting wildfires offroad. The truth is that the police and fire departments can get unarmored trucks just as easily.
I take it then that the MRAP uses air pressure to release the brakes like commercial vehicles.
A silver lining: The people in those small towns know exactly where those who would occupy said vehicles live. Get in one to unconstitutionally suppress the populace and you probably won’t live 48 hours after getting out again. (And while you’re out oppressing, who is watching your family?) This is why I still have hope that most local LE will walk off the job with their equipment if the wrong orders are ever given. At some point it just makes more sense to let a tyrant swing without you.
grenade launchers and machine guns for the local police?
What could go wrong with that?
Problem with crowd control?
Problem no more. /s
Nobody will short you on the ketchup in the drive-thru lane AGAIN !
The government is literally freeing mass murdering terrorist while turning their attention towards Americans at home.
Speaking of MRAPs, there’s a false flag going down outside of L.A., CALIF as we speak. Will an MRAP barge in and save the day??? Drum roll please..
My Uncle, God Bless his soul, once said:
“You asked me where the DHS was storing all of the equipment they were acquiring for use against the citizens of the United States if a Civil War was to occur? Just look at the local Police department and the other local Federal agencies. They’re emplacing them one or two at a time in plain sight.”
The key he then added was this: “Now what I want to know is where all of that ammunition is being stored at.”
He was a good man... and I miss him.
martial law is not far off.
Once upon a time, civilians could open up their bank accounts and get the latest howitzer and grape-shot that money could buy. And for awhile, civilians were armed “better” than our military (Think the old west with the Winchester repeaters and Henry’s out there).
Yup, you got it.
Please post more details about what’s going on outside of Los Angeles.
Don’t you just love this little gem from the NY Slimes article.....
“In the Indianapolis suburbs, officers said they needed a mine-resistant vehicle to protest against a possible attack by veterans returning from war.”
“You have a lot of people who are coming out of the military that have the ability and knowledge to build I.E.D.’s and to defeat law enforcement techniques, Sgt. Dan Downing of the Morgan Co. Sheriff’s Dept. told the local Fox affiliate. Sergeant Downing did not return a message seeking comment.”
Of course he didn’t return the reporter’s message, the coward. What an insulting thing to say about our returning vets.
Yes, it is.
“We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”
— Candidate B. Hussein Obama, 2008
That is as it should be.
I would not mind our military becoming much much smaller in peacetime except for the forces responsible for the technical stuff like jets, satellites, missiles and stuff.
I think the era of massive standing armies is crazy
baraq the first is arming up federal agencies.
State and local PD’s are being armed up with military hardware. What if the state and local PD’s take our side?
I know there will be some PD’s that would love to play army on unarmed civilians and their pooches, but there may also be some PD’s that are vehemently against baraq and his fellow travelers. Guess we will see who is on what side when the poop hits the prop.
explaine in this doc - freedom from war, state dept pub 7277.
phase 2 to phase 3 preparations.
Posse Comitatus work around - who needs the military when you have a ‘civilian security force’ just as powerful.
Revolt is coming.
In a sane world, most of these would be surplused after a year or two because the fleet departments don’t have the tools or labor to maintain them or the budget for sustained operations.
I’ve been involved in providing fleet services to LE for years and you would be surprised at what they can do to equipment. It’s part of their entitlement mentality. They will purposely abuse any and all vehicles, computers, office copiers if and when they so choose so that they can get the newest toys loaded with all of the gadgets.
We always ran pool to see how long it would take to crash the new cars. Shortest time was 9 days and the officer took out a power pole. The chief called me out to the scene and was explaining what happened and that the driver laid down 200 ft of skid marks. I looked around and didn’t see any and then reminded him that the vehicle was equipped with ABS and that the speed limit on the city street was only 25 and asked if he was responding to a shooting? The chief just looked at me and couldn’t believe that I was trying to use logic to figure out one of his boys could total a new car in only 9 days...
I live in that suburb, it was the Morgan County sheriff that got it and I’ve known Bob Downey, the sheriff here, for a long time. Him I trust, but who knows about the next guy who gets in there though like his idiot Deputy quoted here. He is the kind of sheriff most freepers would respect, huge supporter of the second amendment and not a gung-ho type pushing a liberal agenda at all.
He knew there was going to be a sh*tstorm when he took it, but also I can somewhat see his point of view for doing it also. The vehicle was completely free, it just cost the fuel to drive it back here and park it.
It will only be used under extreme circumstances, it’s not like they will be getting the morning coffee in it or doing raids all the time, at least I know he won’t. He has a Boyscout mentality and would rather have it parked there and never be used than need it just once and not have access to it in a pinch.
Do you think that is a wise thing to post?
